    Khloe Kardashian’s impromptu wedding in September surprised her mother more than anyone as the reality star had never even brought a boy home before.

    The 25-year-old married LA Lakers star Lamar Odom two months ago after a whirlwind romance, and her mother Kris Jenner revealed that she was shocked that the pair got married so quickly.

    She said: “Khloe never brought a boy home to say hello, and in five minutes she was engaged and I had nine days to plan a wedding.”

    The new season of the Kardashian family show, Keeping Up With The Kardashians, is due to premiere in December and Jenner said that it will be an event-packed series.

    She said: “We’re ready to launch season four any minute and it’s crazy. It’s a lot of hair-raising moments.”

    Billy Joel’s ex-wife Katie Lee has spoken about the pain of their split – but insisted: “We’ve remained friends.

    “Just because you’ve split up doesn’t mean those feelings just end.

    “I really want him to be happy and I think he wants the same for me.”

    The couple’s split this summer came as a shock to fans of the Piano Man who thought he had finally settled down.

    Promoting her new cook book on the Rachael Ray Show, Katie Lee did not go into details behind the split. But she insisted: “Ninety-nine percent of what you read isn’t true. So I don’t read it – I don’t introduce that negativity into my life.”

    Of the split, she added: “It is hard to go through – it’s not easy – and doing it in front of everybody makes it even harder.

    “But I have a great support group. People I didn’t even know reached out to me on Facebook and Twitter and sent me their favourite break-up recipes!”

    Pregnant reality star Kendra Wilkinson has congratulated her pal Khloe Kardashian on her recent wedding to Lamar Odom.

    Kendra, 24, married American football star Hank Baskett, 27, in June and they expect their first child together in December.

    Khloe, 25, recently tied the knot with LA Lakers player Lamar, 29, after dating for barely one month.

    Kendra posted her congratulations to the couple on her blog: “As im sure all of u know Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom got married yesterday and i just wanted to wish both of them a congratulations and let the newlyweds know how happy i am for them!!!

    “There’s nothing more special than being able to spend every day with the person you love and they’re so lucky to have found that. I’ll definitely have to give Khloe a few tips about being an athlete’s wife.”

  • Salma Hayek had a very musical second wedding

    Salma Hayek had a very musical second wedding – with Bono and a host of Hollywood A-listers singing for her.

    The sultry actress tied the knot with French billionaire Francois-Henri Pinault at Venice’s famed opera house Teatro La Fenice, just weeks after their first ceremony.

    This time, the celebration was held in front of 150 guests, including Penelope Cruz, Javier Bardem, Charlize Theron, Ed Norton, Woody Harrelson and Stella McCartney.

    During the ceremony, music kicked in and the guests serenaded the couple with a Hawaiian-style version of The Wizard of Oz classic Over the Rainbow.

    Later, at the elegant reception, Hayek, Theron and Harrelson joined Bono on stage to sing Stand By Me.

    At one point Theron and McCartney sang Don’t Cry For Me Argentina, from Evita.

    Hayek, who by then had changed from a Balenciaga wedding gown for a knee-length fuscia dress, then joined them for the Rolling Stones’ Satisfaction.

    By 3am the reception was winding down as one of the last guests, Lucy Liu, departed on foot.

    “It was all about love, family and friends,” a wedding guest to People.com.
