  • Glee star Lea Michele was chubby-cheeked youngster

    Glee star Lea Michele may be the singing sensation in TV’s hottest new show but here she is as a chubby-cheeked youngster.

    Michele’s baby picture was submitted to her high school yearbook by her mum and dad when she graduated in 2004.

    In the picture the smiling Lea snuggles under a blanket and grips her bottle.

    Michele, whose real name is Lea Michele Sarfati, graduated from New Jersey’s Tenafly High School in 2004.

    The 23-year-old has rocketed to fame playing the role of Rachel Berry in Glee, for which she has received a Golden Globe nomination.

    “Dear Lea, we know you don’t want this message to be serious, but seriously you are the best of our lives,” her parents wrote in the yearbook. “We are amazed with all you have accomplished so far in your life. College will be another great experience for you and as always we wish you all your heart desires. Love, Mom and Dad.”

  • Janet Jackson and Jermaine Dupri Working Together

    Producer and songwriter Bryan-Michael Cox is working with Janet Jackson on her next studio album and he recently revealed that one of the other collaborators is the pop singer’s ex-boyfriend Jermaine Dupri. He also says that so far, their work together has been hot. I wouldn’t be surprised if they started things up again with their romance. Maybe those crazy kids could make it work this time. Here’s to hoping that things do go well for Janet with her personal life and her career too. I think she needs something to be happy about and get her out of the funk that she’s been in since the tragic death of her brother.

  • Boy George Wants to be on Big Brother

    Boy George is begging the judge to alter his probation terms so he can appear on Celebrity Big Brother in the UK and get that fat check for $320,000. Talk about being desperate. The singer was in jail from January 2009 to may 2009 for false imprisonment and assault of a male escort back n 2007. He was released on probation if he agreed to approved work where a probation officer can visit him. His appearance on the reality show would undoubtedly be a breach to the terms. Channel 4 wants him bad though, with their spokesperson saying “We respect what the Probation Service has said but if George is free, we’d love to have him.”

  • Elton John Released from Hospital

    It was recently reported that Elton John was diagnosed with a serious case of E. coli. The singer’s illness resulted in the cancellation of several concerts as he had to be treated at a London hospital. The good news is that Elton was released from the hospital late last week. According to his rep Garry Farrow, the singer is already doing fine. That’s a great thing. Let’s hope that everything remains well for Elton and that he doesn’t have any further health scares and that he gets to perform those concerts some time soon. I wonder how he got sick with E. coli in the first place.

  • Beyonce Rocks the EMAs

    Beyonce looked absolutely smashing when she attended the 2009 MTV Europe Music Awards last week which was held at the O2 Arena in Berlin, Germany. The 28-year old singer gave another memorable performance to her hit song ‘Sweet Dreams’. It was also a great night for Beyonce as she took home three awards, namely Best Video, Best Song and Best Female. Congratulations on the wins! I wonder if Kanye West was happy with those results or if he’s got something else to say. Yes, I’m still referring to that whole Taylor Swift incident at the VMAs. I highly doubt that it’s going to die anytime soon, if at all.

  • Michael Jackson Will Forged

    Randy Jackson is saying that Michael Jackson’s will is a fake. Rumors persist that the King of Pop did not sign his will which was dated July 7, 2002 as the late singer was apparently across the country in New York and the document alludes to Los Angeles. Randy says that he can prove that Michael was in New York on that day, protesting against Sony exec Tommy Mottola as he was prejudice against African American artists. The lawyer for the Jackson estate, Howard Weitzman claims that witnesses to the will were present when Michael signed it but he would not verify if it was in LA.

  • Michael Jackson Tribute on Dancing with the Stars

    Dancing with the Stars is reportedly planning an hour long tribute to the late singer Michael Jackson. They did such a great job when they honored Patrick Swayze, I hope that they’ll do the same for the King of Pop. The 16 professional dancers in the competition will perform special choreographed numbers in tribute to the music, dancing and life of Michael. The piece is being described as a “fusion of classic ballroom and Latin styles”, all performed to classic MJ tunes. There’s no word yet on when the special will air though. I can’t wait to watch and see what they’ve come up with.

  • Michael Jackson’s Tomb Guards

    For several weeks, Michael Jackson’s tomb at Forest Lawn Memorial Park was under maximum round the clock security. It’s now being said that the extra protection has been scaled back. Sources say that the mausoleum that house’s the late singer’s body was being monitored by a private security firm hired specifically to protect the King of Pop’s grave. As of last week, the extra protection was nowhere to be seen. Sources at Forest Lawn confirm the security change but insist that Michael’s resting place will still be under constant watch of the guards under their employment, 24-hour cameras and alarms.

  • Susan Boyle on X Factor

    British singing sensation Susan Boyle came to the US last month to make an appearance and to perform on the finale of America’s Got Talent. Now, it has been announced that the singer will be returning to the man that made her an international star, Simon Cowell. Susan has reportedly been selected to sing on X Factor in November. Of course, it’s all properly timed as her appearance will tie in with her new album release. According to an inside source “It makes perfect sense and will create a big buzz. There are two shows to fill on Saturday and Sunday nights now, so they’re also planning guest appearances from previous winners and runners-up as well as celebrity guests.”

  • Michael Jackson Autopsy Report Complete

    The Los Angeles County coroner has finally come to a conclusion about the cause of Michael Jackson’s death. However, the wait continues for everyone that’s curious as the records will remain sealed until the LAPD have finished their investigation of the singer’s death. The coroner’s office has declined to comment over their findings about the King of Pop’s autopsy so the speculation continues for everyone else. The LAPD has also come out with a statement saying that they asked the coroner’s office to keep the results sealed. So if you’re dying of curiosity already, blame the LAPD for it. I hope they finish the investigation already.

  • Christina Aguilera Never Leaves Her House

    Christina Aguilera was recently interviewed by the Associated Press where she talked about her home, working on a record and never leaving the house. The singer said “We moved into our new house about a year ago but since I started working on the record, I have a studio in the backyard … and it just has been so perfect for me to just wake up in the morning, put on my flip flops and sweat pants, and just go back in the studio and pretty much get into my creative cave and zone out that way, so it’s been really convenient. So the paparazzi have probably been upset with me. I know they told my husband, they’re like, ‘Is she every going to leave the house?’”

  • Michael Jackson’s Live In Doctor Target for Manslaughter Charge

    Dr. Conrad Murray is now officially the target of a manslaughter investigation into the death of the King of Pop Michael Jackson. A search warrant authorizing the seizure of documents at a storage locker in Houston says law enforcement was hunting for “items constituting evidence of the offense of manslaughter that tend to show that Dr. Conrad Murray committed the said criminal offense.” The person who runs the facility says people from the shady doctor’s office visited the storage locker six times recently, the last time being the morning of the iconic singer’s death. All signs are pointing to Dr. Murray as the suspect after allegedly giving Michael a lethal dose of the anaesthesia Propofol.

    With Eddie Cibrian and his wife Brandi Glanville already split, it was only a matter of time before it became public that LeAnn Rimes has also split from her hubby Dean Sheremet. I’m actually surprised that it took her so long. After many months of rumors and proof that LeAnn and Eddie had an affair, the country singer and her backup dancer husband have finally parted ways. A source reveals to People “LeAnn and her husband have been separated for quite some time now, but they continue to try and work through their relationship.” I doubt they’d be able to work it out. I’m already counting the days until LeAnn goes public with Eddie.

  • Eddie Cibrian Gets Dumped

    Eddie Cibrian has been dumped by his wife Brandi Glanville. Eddie was attacked by the media for allegedly cheating on his wife with his Lifetime movie co-star, county singer LeAnn Rimes, a few months back when the two were caught kissing on hidden camera video. The following months after that were still riddled with rumors that Eddie and LeAnn were still hooking up. The final straw for Brandi was when her soon-to-be ex and his mistress were caught outside of one of LeAnn’s friends in Malibu. Brandi said “Eddie and I have decided to take some time apart. I want to do what is best for our children. Eddie and LeAnn deserve each other.”

    Jessica Simpson had a pretty crappy birthday last Friday when her boyfriend, Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo broke up with her before her party last weekend. Now, people are saying that Tony called it off with Jess after he found text messages from the failed county singer’s ex John Mayer on her phone. An insider says “They were hanging out and he picked up her phone and she got defensive about it. Tony found messages from John and went ballistic. Tony dumped her right then. He walked out and that was it.” It sounds so much like high school drama doesn’t it?

    The nanny who took care of Michael Jackson’s three kids says that reports that she pumped the late King of Pop’s stomach several times are not true. Grace Rwaramba responded to the rumors by posting on the website of her close friend, Mallika Chopra, the daughter of the singer’s confidant Deepak Chopra. Grace wrote “I am shocked, hurt and deeply saddened by recent statements the press has attributed to me, in particular, the outrageous and patently false claim that I ‘routinely pumped his stomach after he had ingested a dangerous combination of drugs.’ I don’t even know how to pump a stomach!!”

  • Lisa Marie Presley Talks Michael Jackson

    Lisa Marie Presley, who was shared a brief marriage with Michael Jackson back in the 90s, wrote in her blog recently that the singer once predicted that he was headed down the same path as her father, the King of Rock n Roll, Elvis. Elvis died at the age of 42 after battling his addiction to prescription drugs. On her blog, Lisa Marie wrote that Michael once told her “’ I am afraid that I’m going to end up like [Elvis], the way he did.’ I promptly tried to deter him from the idea, at which point he just shrugged his shoulders and nodded almost matter of fact as if to let me know, he knew what he knew and that was kind of that.”

    Adam Lambert has finally come out and he has some very wise words about his sexuality too. In his Rolling Stone interview, he said “There are so many old-fashioned ways of looking at things, and if we want to be a progressive society, we have to start thinking in a different way. There’s the old industry idea that you should just make sexuality a non-issue, just say your private life’s your private life, and not talk about it. But that’s bullshit, because private lives don’t exist anymore for celebrities: they just don’t. I don’t want to be looking over my shoulder all the time, thinking I have to hide, being scared of being found out, putting on a front, having a beard, going down the red carpet with some chick who is posing as my girlfriend. That’s not cool, that’s not being a rock star. I can’t do that.”

    It seems that Blake Lively is the only actor on the cast of ‘Gossip Girl’ without an up and coming music career. We all know about Taylor Momsen, Leighton Meester and Ed Westwick singing, now, Penn Badgley is talking about his own musical aspirations. The actor admits to love music and writing his own material. Don’t expect to hear any of his sweet sounds though as he has decided to stick to acting for the time being. Thank you for sparing me from having to listen to another wannabe! Penn said “I mean music is my first passion, but because of that I don’t really want to just take a first step in the wrong direction. At the moment, I just want to be sensible about what I do.   • Britney’s Stripped Down Concert

    For the last stop on their North American tour in Montreal, Britney Spears’ back up dancers came out in a very revealing style. As a prank that they pulled on the pop star, the guys dropped their trousers during the performances of ‘Boys’ and ‘If You Seek Amy’. All the male dancers stripped down to pink briefs that said “True Brit” on the waistline. Yummy! I bet Brit had a lot of fun with that one. I wonder if the dancers had to get conservator and father Jamie Spears to approve of the prank before actually going through with it.
