    The Runaways star Kristen Stewart says she would love to host Saturday Night Live.

    The 19-year-old admitted she’d like a turn at hosting the show, but would find it “really, really scary”.

    She told E! Online: “They haven’t asked me to do it. I would love to say yes for sure, but that is really, really scary.

    “I am so critical of myself and then also of people who are on the show. It’s like, ‘Nope, you’re not funny – next’!”

    Her Twilight co-star, Taylor Lautner, has already hosted the show but her other co-star Robert Pattinson is yet to take a turn.

  • Vampire Diaries star Ian Somerhalder sympathises with fellow vampire actor Robert Pattinson

    Vampire Diaries star Ian Somerhalder has said he can sympathise with fellow vampire actor Robert Pattinson as fans also ask him to bite them.

    The 31-year-old plays the role of vampire Damon Salvatore in CW’s TV series, which was adapted from the popular books by L.J Smith.

    Asked when the last time someone asked him to bite them, he said: “Oh, that happens quite often! I politely walk away.

    “Also, I don’t think my girlfriend, as sweet and open and wonderful as she is, would appreciate me walking around randomly biting women when they asked me to.”

    Pattinson, 23, plays vampire Edward Cullen in the Twilight movie series and previously said that fans often ask him to bite them.

  • New Moon scores third biggest box office opening ever

    The Twilight Saga: New Moon has recorded the third biggest opening in box office history grossing $140.7million.

    The second film in the vampire series scored the record for single day performance earning $72.7 million in ticket sales on Friday.

    The Dark Knight ($158 million) and Spiderman 3 ($151 million) are the only two movies to have scored bigger box office figures.

    The Twilight series, based on Stephenie Meyer’s four best-selling novels, tells the story of a teenage girl named Bella who falls in love with a vampire.

    The first Twilight film made $384 million in global ticket sales. Closely held Summit has the rights to all four books in Meyer’s series, and has already completed the third film, The Twilight Saga: Eclipse.

    New Moon stars Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner and is about a small-town girl caught in a love triangle between a vampire and a werewolf.

  • Martha Stewart dreams about Robert Pattinson

    Martha Stewart had one thing in mind when she invited Kristen Stewart onto her homemaking show: Robert Pattinson.

    Kristin said she soon realised Martha kept steering their chat back to her Twilight co-star and rumoured lover.

    Martha, 68, admitted said she had a dream about Pattinson.

    Kristen, 19, said: “All she wanted to do was talk about Rob! She told me she had a dream that she hung out with him. I was like, ‘That’s awesome!’ There was a whole pie segment and I assumed that’s what we were gonna talk about. And she was like, ‘You know, I’m such a fan and I had a dream about Robert the other night.’ I was like, ‘Dude, I should hook you guys up!’”

  • Losts Emilie de Ravin splits from husband

    Lost star Emilie de Ravin and actor husband Josh Janowicz are divorcing, according to US reports.

    The couple, both 27, are breaking up after three years of marriage.

    The pair dated for four years before tying the knot in Australia, in 2006, and moving to California.

    De Ravin is due to film her latest movie, Remember Me, with British hunk Robert Pattinson later this summer.

    “Emilie and her husband have filed for divorce. They have recently been living separately and remain friends,” said a spokesman for the actress.
