Ramsay, 43, is currently filming a new show for Channel 4 in Vietnam but is to fly back after his mum Helen had a heart attack.

The star was due to fly on to New Zealand but will now be returning to the UK to be at his mother’s side.

His spokesman said: “With the news of his mother’s heart attack, Gordon has had to postpone his visit to New Zealand.

“He is so sorry to disappoint his fans. He will be rescheduling.”

He has previously credited his mum as the one who kept the family together when his dad became a violent alcoholic.

A family friend recently said that Helen’s condition is ‘not life-threatening’.

Hollywood actor Robert De Niro isn’t planning to retire despite the fact he was recently given a Lifetime Achievement Award.

De Niro, 66, recently attended AARP’s Movies for Grownups Awards, where he picked up the prize.

He said: “I’ve only been doing this for about 40 years. It’s actually been longer, but what are they going to give me 40 years from now – the He Lived Too Long Award?”

De Niro added: “A couple of critics suggested it was maybe time for me to retire. I’m still a kid – always a kid. And like most kids, I’m very happy for the approval of grownups. Thank you and see you at the Kids Choice Awards.”

Hollywood star Jessica Alba and hubby Cash Warren are reportedly planning a second baby.

Alba, 28, and hubby Warren, 30, have a 17-month-old daughter Honor and reports claim she could soon have a younger sibling.

An insider said to BettyConfidential: “Cash and Jess are in a great place. They’re feeling very settled and comfortable. Jessica has really put her foot down with a lot of Cash’s bad habits and he is OK with it.

“He enjoys the home life that Jess has created for him and Honor and he loves their little family. They feel like it’s about time they added a baby brother or sister for Honor and that’s their big step.”
