    Khloe Kardashian’s impromptu wedding in September surprised her mother more than anyone as the reality star had never even brought a boy home before.

    The 25-year-old married LA Lakers star Lamar Odom two months ago after a whirlwind romance, and her mother Kris Jenner revealed that she was shocked that the pair got married so quickly.

    She said: “Khloe never brought a boy home to say hello, and in five minutes she was engaged and I had nine days to plan a wedding.”

    The new season of the Kardashian family show, Keeping Up With The Kardashians, is due to premiere in December and Jenner said that it will be an event-packed series.

    She said: “We’re ready to launch season four any minute and it’s crazy. It’s a lot of hair-raising moments.”

  • Oprah Winfrey’s mum settles clothing store lawsuit

    Talk show queen Oprah Winfrey’s mum has settled a lawsuit with a high-end clothing store.

    Vernita Lee allegedly owed Milwaukee’s Valentina Inc $155,000, seven years after a $174,000 shopping spree at the same shop got her into trouble.

    Lee was sued in July 2008 by the store and was ordered to pay them $2,000 a month to settle her debt.

    But that was challenged by her lawyers, who claimed that Lee had been extended another line of credit despite the 2002 bill of $174,000, which she was sued for and eventually paid.

    Details of the latest settlement have not been made public, but Lee will reportedly make a “partial payment” to the store.

    “We’re happy with what transpired. It’s over,” said Valentina co-owner Tony Chirchirillo.

  • Mums the word for actress Taraji P Henson

    Taraji P Henson, the actress who won an Oscar nomination for playing Brad Pitt’s mother, Queenie, in The Curious Case Of Benjamin Button, appears in a new ad with her own mother.

    The 38-year-old star appears in a Pepsi ad alongside an old family photo that was taken in the 1970s.

    As part of Pepsi’s We Inspire campaign, she writes: “When I look at this picture of my mum and me when I was seven, I smile, remembering the creative, crazy hairstyles I came up with.

    “She always made me feel that I could be myself and that my dreams had no limits.

    “That love has guided all of my relationships, including the most important one… with my son.”

    The actress signs the quote, which appears in the ad underneath the picture of her with her mother.

    Henson will play the mother of 11-year-old actor Jaden Smith – who is Jada Pinkett-Smith and actor Will Smith’s son – in the upcoming remake of Karate Kid.

    Model Karolina Kurkova to be a mum

    Supermodel Karolina Kurkova is pregnant.

    The Czech-born stunner, 25, is expecting her first child with film producer Archie Drury.

    The pregnancy will force Kurkova to miss the annual Victoria’s Secret fashion show, in which she regularly stars.

    The couple have been together for one year.
