The State Of Play star and Damon have set up a deal with Warner Brothers to make the movie The Trade, which is based on two real-life New York Yankees players, according to US reports.
Team-mates Fritz Peterson and Mike Kekich disclosed their secret in 1973, after Peterson fell in love with Kekich’s wife Susanne and Kekich fell for his wife Marilyn Peterson.

Sly scotches Rocky rumours

Hollywood actor Sylvester Stallone has revealed that his 2006 movie Rocky Balboa was the last Rocky movie he will ever make.
The 63-year-old star played the underdog boxer in five of the original movies before heading back to the ring for his sixth Rocky movie in 2006.
However, he has now denied reports that he will make a seventh flick.
He said: “Rocky Balboa is the last Rocky I’ll ever do.
“I did plan to use footage of Apollo in Balboa, but Carl [Weathers, who played boxer Apollo Creed in the first four Rocky movies] refused to let me use his likeness. Ever since Rocky IV, he’s been aggravated that he died.
“Even at the time he was like, ‘Why do I have to die? Why can’t I just be in a coma?’ He’s never forgiven me. But I had my own worries.”
He added: “With Rocky Balboa, I was concerned people would think an older Rocky fighting was one step too far. To some people, it was like Al Pacino doing The Godfather VIII.”

Demi Moore fumes at raunchy stills from hubby Ashton Kutcher’s new movie

Demi Moore reportedly wanted raunchy stills from hubby Ashton Kutcher’s new movie Spread banned.

Kutcher, 31, gets naked with actress Anne Heche, 40, in the new movie as he plays a man who targets rich and lonely women.
A source said: “Demi doesn’t mind cinema fans ogling her toyboy hubby but she did NOT want these pictures in the press forever reminding her he got so hot with someone else.

Johnny Depp to pocket $55m for fourth Pirates movie
Hollywood actor Johnny Depp will reportedly be paid $55m to return as Captain Jack Sparrow in a fourth Pirates Of The Caribbean movie.
Depp’s fee is reportedly more than double the amount usually paid to A-list stars such as Tom Cruise, Will Smith and Harrison Ford.
It is claimed that Disney executives believe the deal will save them money, as The Sweeney Todd star, 46, had originally wanted a percentage of the movie’s profits.

One Disney boss said: “These returns might seem like astronomical figures, but the recession has driven production costs up and profit margins down for everyone.”
He added: “Percentage deals are a thing of the past. They have proved to be so open-ended that, while talented actors have earned fortunes, studios can no longer afford such budget-busting agreements.”

Megan Fox fancied a screenwriter’s stripper shoe

Directors wanting Megan Fox to sign on to their projects might think first of shopping for shoes.
Fox, 23, the sultry brunette whose star wattage often sees her compared to Angelina Jolie, said she was turned on to the movie Jennifer’s Body by the screenwriter’s shoes.
And given that screenwriter was the enigmatic hot young property Diablo Cody, 31, those shoes could have been quite eye-stopping.
Fox said:”She was really shy and really nice and she had on these six-inch pair of clear high heels, like the kind that strippers wear.
“I loved that in Hollywood here she was walking around in stripper shoes. It’s what swayed me to do the movie.”
Jennifer’s Body has stirred up quite a reaction with its gory no holds barred scenes.
Cody also wrote the Oscar winning script for the movie Juno.

US director Bryan Singer has said he is interested in working on another X-Men movie
US director Bryan Singer has said he is interested in working on another X-Men movie.
The successful franchise has already had one spin-off film, X-Men Origins: Wolverine and it is claimed Singer has been talking with Twentieth Century Fox about another movie.

South African filmmaker Gavin Hood worked on the spin-off movie, which featured the life of Wolverine that was played by actor Hugh Jackman.
Singer said at South Korea’s Pusan International Film Festival: “I’m still looking to possibly return to the X-Men franchise. I’ve been talking to Fox about it.
“I love Hugh Jackman. I love the cast.”

Screen hunk Matt Damon says it was “liberating”

Screen hunk Matt Damon says it was “liberating” to pad out his action hero body for new movie The Informant.
The screen hunk – known for his usually lean, mean physique – gained almost two stone (30lbs) by gobbling junk food.
He needed to acquire an impressive gut to play a plump whistle-blower in the newly-released comedy flick.
And the Bourne star, 38, says his wife Luciana had no choice but to like it.
“I made my wife appreciate it. She was a good sport. I paraded around. I loved my body,” he told USA Today.
“I walked around, danced – dancing with a belly like that was fun.
“My stepdaughter loved it, too. She kept poking me in the stomach, laughing.”
Despite his brief chubby spell, the father-of-two, whose last film was the 2007 action blockbuster The Bourne Ultimatum, is in huge demand.
He has Clint Eastwood’s Invictus, about Nelson Mandela’s attempt to unite his country through rugby, out in December.
And in March, Damon hunts for weapons of mass destruction in the Iraq war thriller Green Zone, from Paul Greengrass.
“I know it’s a cliche, but I really do feel lucky, and the work I’m getting the chance to do, it’s great,” he told the newspaper.

“I never thought in my entire life that anything related to sex in any way would be something I’d get tired of,” says the actor.
“But I was shooting so many sex scenes that I was actually getting tired of [them].
“’Do we HAVE to shoot another sex scene? Oh, come on! MORE attractive women naked and all over me?’

Hindu leaders concerned about Julia Roberts film
Hindu leaders fear that Julia Roberts’ new movie will portray their religion in a negative light.
The Pretty Woman actress is currently filming Eat, Pray, Love, based on Elizabeth Gilbert’s best-selling memoir of the same name.
According to US reports, shooting is scheduled in India for the third week of September, and has sparked concerns about whether the film will portray Hinduism and yoga authentically.
Rajan Zed, the head of the Universal Society of Hinduism, told the New York Post: “Hinduism and its belief system are quite often misunderstood and incorrectly depicted outside India.
“The people of India will be anxious to see how perfectly Roberts does her job of cleaning ashram floors as a part of her devotional duty, trying to recite 182-verse Sanskrit chant, and going through gruelling hours of meditation, while being feasted on by mosquitoes.”

Courteney Cox speaks about possibility of Jennifer Aniston joining her on Cougar Town
Courteney Cox has spoken about the possibility of pal Jennifer Aniston making an appearance in her new show Cougar Town.
The 45-year-old actress is starring in the new ABC TV series, which follows a woman in her 40s dating younger men. Aniston, 40, is currently starring in a movie called Pumas, which tells the story of two women in their 30s looking for men.
Talking about the plot similarities, Cox said: “I did know about her movie. I’m not sure exactly what the storyline is other than it’s probably a woman. And I guess pumas are in their 30s. Isn’t that right? Pumas are in their 30s? Jaguars are in their 50s, and sabretooths go right into the 60s.”
She also talked about a possible role for Aniston on her show: “She’s a good friend and I know she loves the show. I’m not going to say she is [going to do it] because I don’t know. [But if Bill Lawrence] writes her a character, I’m sure she’ll be glad to do it.”
