  • Ashton Kutcher: "I want to be in a western"

    There is just one thing Ashton Kutcher is yearning for – a part in a western movie.

    The 32-year-old hunk revealed more than anything he wants to star in a “gritty” western film, but doesn’t think it will happen because there simply isn’t the market for it.

    The actor – who is married to Demi Moore – said a cowboy flick would be right up his street.

    He told MTV Australia: “I really want to do a western at some point that’s like a real super gritty, gritty western. But I don’t know if I’ll get to do that because people don’t really go to westerns anymore. But at some point, I’d love to.”

    Promoting his latest film Killers, he praised co-star Katherine Heigl.

    He added: “Katherine’s the kind of person who considers running to be a stunt, but at the same time what it is that she brings is so valuable, and she’s actually a really great person on top of it.

    “She just knows what she likes to do and knows what she doesn’t like to do and brings it.”

  • Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore get in a Twitter over detox

    Hollywood actor Ashton Kutcher and wife Demi Moore have decided to get healthy and go on a “master cleanse” together.

    The Valentine’s Day star, 32, and Moore announced on Twitter that they are planning to go on a health kick together.

    Usmagazine.com has reported that their detox includes drinking a mixture of maple syrup, lemon water and cayenne pepper.

    But the Charlie’s Angels actress, 47, took to her Twitter page to insist that they are not doing it to lose weight.

    She wrote: “This is about health!”

    Moore, who married Kutcher in 2005, added: “Second day of master cleanse and off to hike with hubby and the dogs.

    Second day better than the first!”??

    Kutcher also tweeted: “Nine hours into the master cleanse. I want a steak, a beer, and a blow-pop. Hmmm, this is gonna be rough.”

  • Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher taking on child slavery in Haiti

    Hollywood couple Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore have taken on a fight against child slavery in earthquake-hit Haiti.

    The Demi & Ashton Foundation is sponsoring a fundraising effort for that will ask participants at a United Nations meeting on March 31 to make donations to Haiti on the condition that the ‘restavec’ or child labour custom be banned.

    Kutcher said in a website interview: “Let’s support the Haitian people but let’s support them the right way and let’s support all of them. Don’t forget about the 300,000 children that are enslaved.”

    The pair explained the Haitian system of restavec – where a child is sent to work as a servant for another family.

    Kutcher said he would put the social networking sites Twitter and Mashable to use in building support for the cause.

    “It’s going to take a lot of loud voices,” said Kutcher.

    Moore, meanwhile, added:”It’s about creating the awareness that draws the line of what’s acceptable and unacceptable.

    “Any human being enslaved is unacceptable. As long as one is enslaved, then we are all enslaved. It’s an atrocity to stand by and let this happen.”

    Demi Moore was sorely missed at the Golden Globe Awards on Sunday night.

    The sleek actress, who is married to Ashton Kutcher, is rarely absent from an awards night. But apparently Moore was under the weather.

    She tweeted she was “feeling sick and having a bad hair day” on Sunday afternoon. Perhaps she just had a case of the winter blues. The city of Los Angeles was wet with rain during a time of year that is usually winter crisp.

    Awards presenter Kutcher – who like Moore is an avid tweeter – attended without her and posted updates from backstage.

    They included such Twitter gems as: “FYI Ricky Gervais is pounding Fosters back stage. The show should only get funnier.” 6:43 PM Jan 17th from Tweetie.

    Demi Moore reportedly wanted raunchy stills from hubby Ashton Kutcher’s new movie Spread banned.

    The 47-year-old allegedly asked for the stills from his new movie banned so she didn’t have reminders of the steamy action that occurs in the film.

    Kutcher, 31, gets naked with actress Anne Heche, 40, in the new movie as he plays a man who targets rich and lonely women.

    A source said: “Demi doesn’t mind cinema fans ogling her toyboy hubby but she did NOT want these pictures in the press forever reminding her he got so hot with someone else.

    “But after all his usual goofy roles, Ashton wanted to show there’s a lot more to him.”

  • Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher communicate via Twitter

    Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher have now been using social networking site Twitter to communicate via pictures.

    The Hollywood couple regularly talk to each other when apart through the site but now they have been writing messages on their hands while in different rooms of their LA home to talk to one another online.

    The events started when Demi, 47, posted a message to her 31-year-old husband saying: “Hi @AplusK.”

    He then sent a message to her saying ‘nice hat’ and she put ‘cute hat yourself’.

    They then tried to arrange their dinner via the site as Demi wrote: “Chinese food?”

    She added: “Fried rice. Lo mein? No msg promise.”

    She later wrote ‘race u to the bedroom’ before promoting the box of her new perfume Wanted.

    Demi’s teenage daughter Tallulah joined in at one point but called their activities ‘lame’.

  • Ashton Kutcher: Tired of sex scenes

    Ashton Kutcher says that he was fed up shooting sex scenes for his new movie Spread, in which he plays a gigolo opposite Anne Heche.

    The 31-year-old says that his character had to make love to women so often onscreen that he has got bored of it.

    “I never thought in my entire life that anything related to sex in any way would be something I’d get tired of,” says the actor.

    “But I was shooting so many sex scenes that I was actually getting tired of [them].

    “’Do we HAVE to shoot another sex scene? Oh, come on! MORE attractive women naked and all over me?’

    The What Happens In Vegas star added: “We finally got to the point where we’d run out of positions.

    “Everybody on the set was out of ideas, so we were consulting the Kama Sutra.”

    The actor said his love for the Indecent Proposal star reminds him of his love of fast food.

    He said: “You know when you first discovered a hamburger and then you can’t live without it? That’s what it’s like for me with her.”

    Punk’d star Kutcher, 31, married Moore, 46, in 2005.
