The ‘Notting Hill’ actor bears his soul on the track ‘Stonefinger’ and admits he was “heartbroken” when he recorded the vocals to the track for his new band The Peth - Welsh for The Thing.

Sienna, 26, dramatically dumped 39-year-old Rhys in June, leaving him distraught.

Victoria Beckham was left badly shaken when she was caught up in a terrifying runway scare.
Posh and kids Romeo and Cruz were on the taxiing jet when a bird flew into one of the plane’s engines moments before take-off. Passengers screamed as the pilot slammed on the brakes and the plane screeched to a halt. Fire crews were called on to the runway to douse the craft’s overheated brakes with foam.
It was then that the horrifying scale of the disaster really hit home for Victoria — she realised she was wearing standard-issue aircraft pyjamas and no make-up. The Spice Girl launched into the emergency position and grabbed her high heels, designer clobber and lipstick. She then stayed on the cancelled Los Angeles to London carrier to complete her showbiz transformation while the other passengers were bussed back to the terminal.
Posh, the boys plus her PA and a bodyguard, who accompanied her on the Air New Zealand flight, were ferried back to the building separately. The group later caught another flight out of LA.
Witnesses said Posh remained calm throughout Monday’s potentially image-shattering ordeal. Some passengers spoke about their terror.
One said: “It was really scary when the pilot suddenly slammed on the brakes. The plane was taxiing down the runway and we were set for take-off. We had no idea what was happening and you immediately fear the worst. I was sitting a few rows back from Victoria and her sons, who were at the front of the plane. Victoria wasn’t wearing any make-up and had changed into the pyjamas provided by the airline. It looked like she kept really calm throughout. She appeared to be comforting Romeo at one point. I guess she was as relieved as everyone else. Who knows what could have happened if the bird had flown into the engine a few seconds later, after take-off. Young children were crying and for a moment I feared it was going to turn into a scene from a disaster movie.”
An Air New Zealand spokesman confirmed no one was injured on the jumbo. He said: “A bird flew into one of the plane’s engines just as it started its take-off roll. The engine is being looked at.”
Madonna last night denied she plans to divorce Guy Ritchie – after the grim-faced pair attended a New York Kabbalah service together.
The 49-year-old singer has been linked to American baseball star Alex Rodriguez, 32, who has split from wife Cynthia, 34. It had been claimed Madge introduced the sportsman – nicknamed A-Rod – to the Jewish mystical religion.
But last night she released a statement insisting: “My husband and I are not planning on getting a divorce. I know Alex Rodriguez through Guy Oseary, who manages both of us. Amy Winehouse fled her home yesterday after being placed under “house arrest” to keep her away from drugs.
The troubled singer - who left hospital earlier this week following treatment for scarring on the lungs - is being monitored round-the-clock and even has a security guard stationed outside her home. Yet despite the measures, Amy managed to sprint out of the house and into a waiting car of her female friends, only to later be taken home by dad Mitch.
According to onlookers, the car sped off for a 20-minute drive only for the singer to jump out of the moving vehicle in Camden, North London, hurl abuse at her pals and run into the nearest pub.
Mitch soon arrived to take her home. Before the incident happened, Amy was reportedly heard screaming to be let out.
An onlooker said: “Amy could be heard pleading to be allowed out for some fresh air, only to be told to stick her head out of the back window. Anyone who rang her doorbell had to be given approval by the man on the door. He left after a few hours, only for another big guy to take his place.”
Record Company bosses have made the decision to keep Amy in her home to keep her away from “undesirables”.
A source said: “Effectively, Amy’s been put under house arrest. She is being monitored by 24/7 surveillance to make sure she is behaving herself and keeping out of harm’s way. There is also a security guard stationed outside her house around the clock to vet any undesirables. Crucially, they don’t want known drug dealers coming anywhere near her. Amy has given them names of people expected. Anyone who turns up uninvited will be sent packing. It’s for her own good.”
Mariah Carey’s marriage won’t last more than six months, according to friends. The 38-year-old singer, who wed rapper Nick Cannon in April, is so demanding her new husband won’t be able to cope with her diva-like behaviour.
One pal close to Mariah revealed 27-year-old Nick has become a source of ridicule for her friends and associates.
The source said: “I give the marriage six months, tops. I can’t see it lasting. Nick does whatever Mariah wants him to - he’s like her puppy. It seems like he spends more time in the stores with Mariah’s credit card than he does with Mariah herself. Mariah’s assistants and friends call him ‘Whipped Nick’ behind his back. They have little respect for him because he won’t stand up for himself.”

Her rep says “She would really love to do the show – she always wants to do these things. But she will listen to her doctors.” That hasn’t stopped her from doing crazy stuff before.

She is also said to be shelling out a further $2,000 to fund his drug habit while he is in remand in London’s Pentonville Prison awaiting trial for grievous bodily harm (GBH) and conspiracy to pervert the course of justice.
A source said: “Blake has people who look after him, and he gets crack and heroin. Amy pays for it from outside.”

Sierra Club’s Drew Martin spoke on the matter saying “People are pretty much permitted to use as much water as they want. [The district] has allowed people to over-water… The state’s basically going to run out of water because we do not restrict what people use in the first place.”
Kanye West now has the control over his late mother’s money and can spend it in anyway he sees fit. An LA court judge granted a petition to make the rapper and Shawn Gee, Kanye’s financial adviser, as co-executors of Donda’s estate this past week. That means that they now control the late woman’s money which turns out, is less than $250,000. Donda died without a will. I think Kanye should just donate the money to research or for helping move laws to prevent the same events that happened to his mother. No one wants to hear another incident like Donda’s which could have obviously been prevented.

Usher has reportedly filed for separation from his wife Tameka Raymond. The ‘Love in This Club’ singer - who has been married to Tameka for nine months - is said to have filed official papers three weeks ago, but is unsure whether to make a public announcement or let the news ‘leak’ out.
Gossip website theyoungblackandfabulous.com claim: “Extremely reliable sources close to Mr. Raymond himself have confirmed to us that Usher has indeed filed for separation from his wife of only nine months, Tameka Raymond. I’m told he actually filed three weeks ago. And Usher is torn on whether he will be making an official announcement or not as he wants to save face and just let it ‘leak’.”
However, the website also alleges the ’separation’ could be a publicity stunt for Usher’s new album ‘Here I Stand’, which is released worldwide at the end of the month.

Justin Timberlake announced at this past weekend’s MTV Upfronts that he’s going to produce a new reality show for MTV called ‘The Phone’. The show is based on a Dutch TV show which pits contestants in a timed race to accomplish a mission and win a cash prize. Each episode begins with two phones placed at opposite ends of a city. Once the phone is answered, players are given 5 seconds to decide by a mysterious guide if they want to play the game. Contestants communicate via phone to succeed. The guide will also communicate with them as a helicopter tracks their every move and any error. A failed task will chip away at the cash prize. The show will air this fall.

In Touch is also reporting that after filming in Miami for 3 months, Jen planned a wrap party for ‘Marley & Me’ in which John was scheduled to perform a 3-song set on May 10. The former Friends star, 39, has been spotted having romantic meals with the 30-year-old singer-songwriter.
Mayer spent “all weekend” with her at the Mandarin Oriental in Miami, Florida.
A source said: “He’s held her hand on at least two very intimate dinners.”
Aniston, who divorced Brad Pitt in 2005, and Mayer also cuddled on a private beach. They then arranged for a restaurant to open early so they could eat in private.
Aniston, in Miami to film movie Marley & Me, was recently linked to Brit model Paul Sculfor.

Tokio Hotel have just announced they will perform “Ready, Set, Go!” on Late Night with Conan O’Brien on May 9th.
Thanks to the massive amounts of on-line votes, the diehard Tokio Hotel fans have booked the band another spot on TV with a #2 video (“Ready, Set, Go!”) today on MTV’s TRL.
Tokio Hotel will release the U.S. version of Scream on May 6th.

Scotland Yard is apparently investigating an incident in which Wino allegedly head-butted a 38-year old guy in London. According to the UK media, the man’s offense was hailing the ‘Rehab’ singer a cab. Be a good Samaritan to Wino and you get a head butt in return – nice. What was she thinking? She could get thrown in jail for that! Maybe that was the point so she could be with her husband. But then again, there aren’t any co-ed jails.
Despite not being able to conquer the top spot in the UK, Mariah Carey has garnered the top spot in the albums’ chart in America this week. She only came in at #3 in the UK with the top spot going to The Kooks. Her ‘E=MC2’ record had been projected to sell around 500,000 units in the US. As of Wednesday, it was reported that the album debuted to a pretty massive sale of approximately 475,000 copies sold. Congratulations to Mariah on that one. Now, the countdown is on to see how well Madonna will do on her first week.
Leona Lewis has been told to shape up if she wants lasting success in the US.
The ‘Bleeding Love’ singer, who recently topped The Billboard album and singles charts, reportedly needs a ’sexier’ image so her team have hired Mariah Carey’s personal trainer.
A source said: “Leona has done brilliantly in the US. But some of her team think she needs to be a bit sexier if she wants to have the longevity of female artists like Mariah Carey, Janet Jackson or Madonna. Her looks needs to be more polished. They think that having Leona work with Mariah’s trainer Patricia Gay would be a treat for her because she adores Mariah.”
Leona, 23, will reportedly fly to the Caribbean for ‘intensive sessions’ with Patricia to help get her into shape.
Mariah recently revealed she regularly flies Patricia - who helped Mariah shed around 30lbs - from St. Barts to her New York apartment for their training.
The ‘Touch My Body’ star has insisted she can’t see any similarities between Leona’s music and her own and claims there will never be a “new” Mariah.
