    It seems the signer who is preparing to welcome her first child into the world is very, very worried that it might come too soon. This is what Christina Milian said on the matter: “I am nervous about giving birth to the baby. That’s probably the most nerve-wracking part of it all. Every day I wonder, ‘What happens if she comes earlier than expected?’” Didn’t Christina Milian’s doctors explain to her that worrying so much only makes things worse?   • Tyler Perry accused of pilfering gospel verse for flick

    Playwright and director Tyler Perry plagiarised from a gospel song for his movie Madea Goes To Jail, a federal lawsuit alleges.

    The lawsuit alleging copyright infringement was filed by a representative of late gospel singer Bertha James. It claims Perry has taken a verse from a song James wrote in 1950 titled When I Think of the Goodness of Jesus.

    The lawsuit obtained by TMZ charges Madea with “incorporating the entire Chorus in a monologue delivered by the main character in Madea referencing her deliverance from a jail sentence”.

    The estate of the late James also names Lionsgate Entertainment in the suit, which seeks unspecified damages.

  • Michael Jackson’s Tomb Guards

    For several weeks, Michael Jackson’s tomb at Forest Lawn Memorial Park was under maximum round the clock security. It’s now being said that the extra protection has been scaled back. Sources say that the mausoleum that house’s the late singer’s body was being monitored by a private security firm hired specifically to protect the King of Pop’s grave. As of last week, the extra protection was nowhere to be seen. Sources at Forest Lawn confirm the security change but insist that Michael’s resting place will still be under constant watch of the guards under their employment, 24-hour cameras and alarms.

  • Eddie Cibrian breaks silence about alleged affair with LeAnn Rimes

    The CSI: Miami star, whose wife Brandi Glanville has left him, has admitted he is “not perfect”.

    But the hunky TV star, who met married Rimes when the pair filmed a steamy movie for Lifetime TV channel, has stopped short of admitting cheating.

    The Cuban-American father-of-two said: “I don’t know how people perceive me.

    “What I do know is when you reach a certain point in your career, you’re placed in this unfair fishbowl. Things unfortunately get magnified. We are all human, we are all not perfect. The fact is, I love my family dearly, and I’m a great father. It just saddens me that this is hurtful and being played out publicly.”

    Cibrian’s marriage crumbled after photos of him and Rimes enjoying a cosy meal together were published.

    During the three-hour tryst, they were seen kissing and holding hands – mirroring their on-screen romance. Video footage also appeared to show the two smooching outside the restaurant.

    Rimes and her husband of seven years, dancer Dean Sheremet, are reportedly working out their marital issues.

    Christina Aguilera was recently interviewed by the Associated Press where she talked about her home, working on a record and never leaving the house. The singer said “We moved into our new house about a year ago but since I started working on the record, I have a studio in the backyard … and it just has been so perfect for me to just wake up in the morning, put on my flip flops and sweat pants, and just go back in the studio and pretty much get into my creative cave and zone out that way, so it’s been really convenient. So the paparazzi have probably been upset with me. I know they told my husband, they’re like, ‘Is she every going to leave the house?’”

  • LeAnn Rimes Separates from Hubby

    With Eddie Cibrian and his wife Brandi Glanville already split, it was only a matter of time before it became public that LeAnn Rimes has also split from her hubby Dean Sheremet. I’m actually surprised that it took her so long. After many months of rumors and proof that LeAnn and Eddie had an affair, the country singer and her backup dancer husband have finally parted ways. A source reveals to People “LeAnn and her husband have been separated for quite some time now, but they continue to try and work through their relationship.” I doubt they’d be able to work it out. I’m already counting the days until LeAnn goes public with Eddie.

  • Snoop Dogg’s $900 Pizza

    If you’re planning to go to a Snoop Dogg concert and happen to own a pizza place, you just may end up getting yourself some concert tickets instead of cash as payment. That’s what the employees of a California pizzeria recently found out. It’s being said that the rapper and his tour mate Stephen Marley placed a $900 order with Big Louie’s Pizzeria in Eureka last week. Instead of asking for cash, the restaurant put in a request for concert tickets instead. The two musicians agreed and forked over 12 tickets and a bunch of shirts and hats. If you’re wondering what they ordered to rack up that big a bill, Snoop and Stephen ordered pizza (Stephen stuck to vegetarian pies while Snoop got chicken pesto and chicken garlic extreme), 6 pounds of BBQ ribs and hot wings.

    Adam Lambert has finally come out and he has some very wise words about his sexuality too. In his Rolling Stone interview, he said “There are so many old-fashioned ways of looking at things, and if we want to be a progressive society, we have to start thinking in a different way. There’s the old industry idea that you should just make sexuality a non-issue, just say your private life’s your private life, and not talk about it. But that’s bullshit, because private lives don’t exist anymore for celebrities: they just don’t. I don’t want to be looking over my shoulder all the time, thinking I have to hide, being scared of being found out, putting on a front, having a beard, going down the red carpet with some chick who is posing as my girlfriend. That’s not cool, that’s not being a rock star. I can’t do that.”

  • More Gossip Girl Music

    It seems that Blake Lively is the only actor on the cast of ‘Gossip Girl’ without an up and coming music career. We all know about Taylor Momsen, Leighton Meester and Ed Westwick singing, now, Penn Badgley is talking about his own musical aspirations. The actor admits to love music and writing his own material. Don’t expect to hear any of his sweet sounds though as he has decided to stick to acting for the time being. Thank you for sparing me from having to listen to another wannabe! Penn said “I mean music is my first passion, but because of that I don’t really want to just take a first step in the wrong direction. At the moment, I just want to be sensible about what I do. I just write and I play, and that’s all I need for myself right now.” Maybe they could have a ‘Gossip Girl’ musical episode.

  • Mariah Carey and Tom Jones’ resort show

    The two singers have apparently been booked to perform a show for the opening of a resort in Turkey and they will be receiving 1.5 million dollars for the performance. The resort belongs to Russian tycoon Telman Ismailov. A source close to him said the following about the performance Mariah Carey and Tom Jones are going to be doing: “Telman is not a man who hesitates when it comes to throwing big parties. He wants the opening of the hotel to be a major event and insisted Tom and Mariah be booked to perform, no matter what the cost.” It’s amazing what you can do with ambition and unlimited funds. Still, the real miracle will be if Tom Jones is going to be able to collaborate with the great diva Mariah Carey.

  • Sting’s Daughter Suffers Head Injury

    Sting’s 18-year old daughter, musician Coco Summer, is in the hospital recovering from a fractured skull following a nasty spill. The aspiring singer was dining at a restaurant in Los Angeles when she complained about not feeling very well. When she stood up, Coco fell and hit her head hard. Sting, who happened to be in the US, rushed to be at her bedside while her mother Trudie Styler flew in from the UK. It’s being said that it’s a “serious injury and Coco is under constant surveillance” but Coco is said to be doing well and in good spirits. I wish her a speedy recovery.

    The Soundtrack to Jonas Brothers’ new film “Jonas Brothers: The 3D Concert Experience” is available today! The jam packed album includes live versions of favorites like “Hello Beautiful” and “S.O.S” as well as performances with Taylor Swift and Demi Lovato, a Shania Twain cover, and one new, never-before-heard studio recording called “Love Is On Its Way.” The highly anticipated film goes behind-the-scenes with Kevin, Joe and Nick on last year’s Burning Up Tour, following their every move along the way.

    The actress has supposedly been advised by Steve Guttenberg to try a role in pantomimes. He said: “I’ve been talking to her about when I did my stint in Bromley, UK, and she’s keen to experience the panto for herself. I told her how I’d picked up 100 grand for four weeks’ work – that’s going to appeal to anyone!” Is Jessica Simpson in need of money or what? I thought famous movie stars don’t even mention sums and they do everything just for the love of acting and not for the material benefits. Could I have been wrong? But 100 thousand for four weeks sounds a bit little from Jessica Simpson, especially with her singing career and all.

    Hilary Duff and her hockey player boyfriend Mike Comrie decided to dress up as another pair of celebrities for Halloween. Hilary dressed up as Angelina Jolie with Mike being her Brad Pitt. I don’t know. He looks more like a less scruffy David Cook to me. Hilary does a good Angelina though. Recently, the 21-year old singer and actress released her ‘Reach Out’ music video via MySpace Music. It received a lot of buzz for her thumb-sucking. The song is the first single off of Hilary’s compilation album entitled ‘Best of Hilary Duff’. It is due to drop in stores on November 11.

    Cher is brushing off rumors that she canceled the year’s last pair of her Las Vegas performances because she’s suffering from cancer. The singer says that she is actually in perfect health. She says that he cancellation were just due to allergies that made her throat sore and thus left her unable to sing. She said that if she did have cancer, everyone would know about it because “when you have those kind of things happen if you’re famous you can’t keep them a secret.” She wasn’t bothered by the rumors though saying “People have been saying the weirdest things since I was a teenager.” She’s a pro at handling those things already.

    Country singing sweetheart Carrie Underwood unveiled her new wax figure at Madame Tussauds in New York City recently. The 25-year old American Idol champ also delivered a special treat in time for the coming Christmas season as she released a holiday edition of her current album ‘Carnival Ride’. The holiday version is a 2-disc package featuring the ‘Carnival Ride’ album along with a second disc containing 5 Christmas songs, 4 of whice are previously unreleased. The 5 Christmas songs are ‘Hark! The Herald Angels Sing’, ‘The First Noel’, ‘What Child is This’, ‘O Holy Night’ and ‘Do You Hear What I Hear’.

  • Tejano Singer in Another Crash

    Unfortunate news for Grammy-winning Tejano singer Emilio Navaira. The singer, who is still recovering from major injuries he got from a bus wreck six months ago, was back in the hospital recently after another car accident. Emilio and his wife were taken to the University Hospital in Texas after their car and a truck collided. According to police reports, his wife was believed to be driving at the time of the accident. As for the truck driver, he did not suffer any injuries. Emilio’s agent says that the couple were actually on their way back from rehab when the latest accident occurred. Let’s hope this latest accident doesn’t make it too much worse for the singer’s recovery.

    BritneySpearsCircusLeak.com is a new website that claims to have the first leaked single ‘Candy From Strangers’ from Britney Spears’ sixth studio album ‘Circus’. Interestingly enough, the radio station 97.9 Kiss FM has the same song posted on their website. Can it be an unofficial leak? The song starts off like ‘Hot as Ice’ from Brit’s last album ‘Blackout’. ‘Candy From Strangers’ reportedly features the likes of Laze & Royal. The first official single ‘Womanizer’ off her upcoming album actually dropped on September 22. Maybe ‘Candy From Strangers’ was a buzz maker. Whatever it was meant to be, it still has the potential to become a single after ‘Womanizer’.
