    Katie Price has reportedly agreed to appear on I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here but will be paid a much higher fee than the other contestants.

    The 31-year-old glamour model is reportedly being paid £350,000 and will appear much later in the show than the other contestants who are getting around £65,000 each.

    A friend of one of the contestants said to UK newspaper The Sun: “This really is taking the Mick. We were pushing for more cash but were told things were tight this year. Now we know why.

    “If ITV are looking for trouble in the jungle, they will certainly get it once she turns up.”

    Katie, who has already appeared on the show in its 2004 series, is said to be breaking up the trip by flying to LA first to appear on a US show before making the final journey to Australia.

  • Gordon Ramsay to front US MasterChef for Fox TV

    Gordon Ramsay is taking another top British show to the US – the BBC’s long-running series, MasterChef.

    The celebrity chef will star in and co-produce the American version of the show – which first aired in the UK in 1990 – on Fox TV.

    “[It's] a huge reality format that works great in other countries, plus Gordon Ramsay guarantees success,” said Mike Darnell, president of alternative entertainment at Fox.

    “Gordon is like our CSI.”

    The executive producer of the show, Howard T Owens, added: “This is a huge, nationwide search for the best amateur chef in America.

    “It’s about people who are lawyers, construction workers and stay-at-home mums, but whose real passion is to make great food.

    “This is their shot to prove they have what it takes.”

    An Australian edition of the show has already been very successful – the series finale was one of the country’s most-watched programmes in a decade, when it aired earlier this year.

    MasterChef is the third series that Ramsay will front in the US for Fox TV.

    He also appears in Hell’s Kitchens and Kitchen Nightmares.

    Pamela Anderson has denied reports that she is to appear on UK reality shows such as I’m A Celebrity and Celebrity Big Brother.

    The 42-year-old was rumoured to be appearing on the UK shows, but she has now denied the reports.

    Talking about the show I’m A Celebrity, she said to the UK newspaper Metro: “Hell, no! No way, no. Never.”

    She added about Celebrity Big Brother: “Absolutely not. No and no.”

    Pamela recently worked with 2008 I’m A Celebrity winner Joe Swash on a new reality show for Living and she denied his claims that he had sniffed her knickers.

    She said: “He wasn’t even in my house, so there you go. Ha ha. It must have been a pair of my manager’s wife’s knickers. Sorry Wendy!”

    Pamela also gave her views on the British model Katie Price, also known as Jordan.

    She said: “I think she is great. She has made a business for herself and her family.”

    Jon Gosselin was ordered by a court to pay his divorcing wife, Kate, $180,000, according to a source.

    The reality stars have been warring since Jon pulled the plug on filming of Kate’s new reality show, Kate Plus 8, by ordering network TLC off his property.

    Kate whipped Jon into emergency court to claim $232,000 in funds she alleges he took from a joint bank account.

    She claimed he was in contempt of their court order relating to the divorce they both filed for in recent months. Kate’s attorney Mark Momjian stated: “The remaining sum of $55,000, which Ms Gosselin used for household bills and expenses relating to the children, will be subject to further determination by the arbitrator at a later date.”

    Jon’s deadline for paying the $180,000 is October 26. Kate will have to provide the court with an inventory of her expenses.

    The dancing couple, Maksim Chmerkovskiy and Karina Smirnoff, who lit up the stage of the Emmy Awards had an arguement before their performance, according to reports.

    The pair, Maksim Chmerkovskiy and Karina Smirnoff, were formerly in a relationship before breaking off their engagement this month, a witness said.

    “They were going at it, screaming at each other. He said she was taking too long in hair and make-up. It got kind of loud,” said an eyewitness.

    But Smirnoff said later the number went well. She said: “It was nerve-racking, especially when we heard the announcer say, ‘From “Dancing with the Stars…’. My heart jumped out a couple of times, but then I was like, ‘Enjoy this because how often do you get to perform at the Emmys?’ And then it just felt like it went very fast. I wanted to do it a couple of more times to really get into it.”

    The pair have appeared on Dancing with the Stars and Burn the Floor.

    Reality star Kim Kardashian said she had “so much fun” filming a cameo in new sitcom Brothers.

    Kardashian, 28, plays herself opposite stars Michael Strahan and Daryl “Chill” Mitchell in an episode of the new Fox show.

    She said to PEOPLE: “I had so much fun. Even though I’m playing myself, you kind of have to play it up a little bit.”

    Kardashian admitted it was easier to film the role because her good pal and former NFL star Michael Strahan was there to look after her.

    She said: “I know his fiancee, Michael knows my ex-boyfriend, and we’ve spent time at Super Bowls, just hanging out. It’s really fun to be around people that you’re comfortable with, and you can just be yourself and have fun with the character.”

  • Jon and Kate Gosselin may have filed in Montgomery for its closed-divorce rule

    Jon and Kate Gosselin may have filed their initial divorce papers in a Pennsylvania county to obtain a blanket on their contents.

    The divorcing stars of the reality show about parenting and marriage don’t live in Montgomery County. But the county has an unusual rule that automatically puts divorce papers under seal.

    Richard Hodgson, the county’s president judge, said, “I think it was a feeling that those kinds of allegations shouldn’t be available to the public just to trash somebody and put it all over the street.”

    The Gosselins’ home, however, is in the state of Pennsylvania. They plan to spend alternating time there with their twins and sextuplets. The show, Jon & Kate Plus 8, was put on hiatus until August by the TLC network, which claimed it wanted to support the family through its transition.

    In Los Angeles, celebrity divorces are usually a matter of public record. But couples can opt to have their case heard by a private arbitrator and public courts will enable partial blanketing. The Montgomery County rule is one that dates back to the time before no-fault divorce.
