Mariah Carey and husband Nick Cannon hosted a Halloween part to celebrate their six-month anniversary at New York City’s Marquee Nightclub last Thursday. We already saw them wearing fire fighter costumes but apparently, they had more than one option. The couple was also seen as a milk and cookies duo. Mariah dressed up as chocolate chip cookies made out of a two-piece number made of chocolate chip cookie pattern fabric with actual cookies sewn on. Nick dressed up as the milk carton with a missing sign over his head. Mariah also revealed to a viewer of the Rachael Ray Show that there was a third costume of an Egyptian.
I wonder if a young Nick Cannon ever imagined that his life would be as amazing as it currently is. Sources say that Mariah Carey plans to spend some quality time with her hubby this month and has paid $125,000 to rent an 18,000 square foot, 10 bedroom farm house on 8 acres in East Hampton for a week. You can already buy a nice condo with that money! It sounds just a little too big for just the two of them but it should be safe to assume that the extra room will be for Mariah’s glam squad. Insiders are also saying that Def Jam’s LA Reid will be hosting a party for Nick and Mariah at the farm house.
The ink’s barely dry on the wedding papers but it has been revealed that Mariah Carey’s marriage to Nick Cannon has hit a rough patch.
It’s just two months since they wed but the couple have already had a string of bust-ups. Mariah, 38, met Nick four weeks before they tied the knot and apparently her legendary diva demands are to blame for the marriage crisis.
A source said: “Things are really bad between them. The honeymoon period was over before it began. Nick’s been surprised at just how demanding his wife is. He feels like her skivvy and moans she has him waiting on her hand and foot. Of course, they met not long before they decided to get married so there were always going to be things they needed to learn about each other. It appears Nick’s learned he doesn’t like her very much.”
Touch My Body singer Mariah, 38, met rapper Nick on a music video in March and they married on April 30.
At the time she said: “We feel we are soulmates. I never felt a love like this was on the cards for me.”
Nick, 27, even had ‘Mariah’ tattooed across his shoulders. The source added: “That’s a problem.”
