Amy Winehouse is still keeping up her crazy antics and it’s made her loved ones want to take drastic measures. Wino’s dad Mitch has even come forward to say that he thinks rehab isn’t enough for his daughter and that he wants to do what Britney Spears’ parents did by forcing his daughter into a mental health facility. Mitch told UK’s News of the World “I want her sectioned (institutionalized). The situation is getting out of control. I want her off the street. I don’t think being somewhere for six weeks is going to cure her problems… I want Amy to be somewhere where she will be safe and where no harm can come to her. Obviously as her dad I will try and do what’s best for her. Unfortunately, what I think is best for Amy and what she thinks is best for her are two different things.”

Tokio Hotel have just announced they will perform “Ready, Set, Go!” on Late Night with Conan O’Brien on May 9th.

Thanks to the massive amounts of on-line votes, the diehard Tokio Hotel fans have booked the band another spot on TV with a #2 video (“Ready, Set, Go!”) today on MTV’s TRL.

Tokio Hotel will release the U.S. version of Scream on May 6th.

Despite not being able to conquer the top spot in the UK, Mariah Carey has garnered the top spot in the albums’ chart in America this week. She only came in at #3 in the UK with the top spot going to The Kooks. Her ‘E=MC2’ record had been projected to sell around 500,000 units in the US. As of Wednesday, it was reported that the album debuted to a pretty massive sale of approximately 475,000 copies sold. Congratulations to Mariah on that one. Now, the countdown is on to see how well Madonna will do on her first week.

Leona Lewis has been told to shape up if she wants lasting success in the US.

The ‘Bleeding Love’ singer, who recently topped The Billboard album and singles charts, reportedly needs a ’sexier’ image so her team have hired Mariah Carey’s personal trainer.

A source said: “Leona has done brilliantly in the US. But some of her team think she needs to be a bit sexier if she wants to have the longevity of female artists like Mariah Carey, Janet Jackson or Madonna. Her looks needs to be more polished. They think that having Leona work with Mariah’s trainer Patricia Gay would be a treat for her because she adores Mariah.”

Leona, 23, will reportedly fly to the Caribbean for ‘intensive sessions’ with Patricia to help get her into shape.

Mariah recently revealed she regularly flies Patricia - who helped Mariah shed around 30lbs - from St. Barts to her New York apartment for their training.

The ‘Touch My Body’ star has insisted she can’t see any similarities between Leona’s music and her own and claims there will never be a “new” Mariah.

She said: “Honestly, there has been so many, ‘This is the new her,’ and I’m like, ‘OK, show me the new her.’ And I’m not particularly talking about this girl Leona, because I only heard her once and I didn’t really hear a true similarity, particularly in the style of music.”

Even though over 29 million viewers tune in to the show every week this season, industry insiders are pretty concerned about the declines in key demographics and average total viewers. While Simon Cowell says that it’s because the contestants lack personality, the insiders are saying that it may be show fatigue. They say that hit shows, no matter how popular, usually get diminishing ratings somewhere from season 5 to 7. Idol is currently on its 7th season. Are we really over it? Is it time to pull the plug?

Apparently, reports are saying that Wino is being “tormented by demons” at her current home in Camden, North London. A friend revealed to UK’s The Sun that “She feels it is full of bad vibes and demons bringing her down.” Wino is pretty intent on moving as she feels her surrounding have affected her well-being and state of mind. Really? I thought drugs did that to you. It’s not the demons that haunt you, it’s the drugs and the drug users for guests that you usually have in the house.

It seems that life after American Idol can be cold – ice cream cold that it. Season 6 castoffs Melinda Doolittle and Chris Richardson are realizing that now as they two singers with barely there music careers are making ends meet by schilling ice cream as part of a Dreyer’s ice cream national promo tour at Vons, Stop & Shot and Winn-Dixie. It may not be as glamorous but there is life after Idol. Congratulations to Madonna! I’m sure that once her new album comes out, she would get a lot more awards considering who she worked with on the album. Justin Timberlake and Timbaland have already proven how much of a powerhouse duo they are behind the sound boards and it’s sure to bring Madonna a good edge for next year’s awards.

The US has changed their mind and has granted Amy Winehouse a visa to come to America. The reversal of decision came after the British pop wreck appealed the decision to reject her visa application. After initially being denied, Wino was set to perform at the Grammy Awards, where she’s nominated six times, via satellite. Now that she’s got her visa, she can fly out to LA for the big show and perform live! But in any case, I hope she stays in London and just focus on her health. It’s obvious she’s doing better and I’d hate if her traveling would put a glitch on that.

Adrien Brody has inked a deal with Cadillac Records but no, he’s not going to be pursuing a music career any time soon. Because of a scheduling conflict, the 34-year old actor will replace Matt Dillon in the Darnell Martin-directed biopic ‘Cadillac Records’.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, Adrien will take the role of Leonard Chess, the Rock and Roll Hall of Famer who started the Chicago Blues label Chess Records and searched the South, cheking out the blues scenes and selling records from the back of his Cadillac. Other cast members include Columbus Short, Cedric the Entertainer, Emmanuelle Chriqui and Tammy Blanchard.

‘High School Musical 3’ is yet to start filming but Vanessa Hudgens continues to work hard. She recently exercised her magic at a Los Angeles studio on Tuesday. The ‘High School Musical’ star has been busy recording new songs and refining old ones for her sophomore album.

Her acting career may not have been affected by her scandalous pictures but I wonder if her music career will. We all know the formula of innocent teen turning racy as we’ve seen with the likes of Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera. I just find it highly ironic that all three of them happen to be Disney girls. What a trend!

London has been quiet over the festive period, but that is all bound to change now Amy Winehouse has returned to home soil. And the break away with Bryan Adams for Christmas doesn’t seem to have improved her mental state any.

Erratic Amy obviously deemed the flight a perfect time to put on a mini one-woman fashion show. No less than three clothing changes before she touched down on English soil following her Caribbean holiday.

She strolled into Barbados airport (where she kipped on a sofa) wearing a flowery crop top, then swapped it for her notorious red bra and an East 17-inspired string vest. It did not take long for her to realise that England is not quite as balmy as the Caribbean and swiftly changed again into a grey T-shirt and beige cardigan

Not only did the holiday not seem to improve her craziness, but Amy looked no different at all. Not a tan in sight – in fact if anything she just looks a bit dirtier. Is there no helping this woman?

Jennifer Hudson avoided being cited by the fashion police by sporting two different looks by Donna Karan to ring in the New Year at the Setai Hotel on Monday. She first sported a body-hugging white dress on the red carpet and then changed into a fire-engine red dress for her performance. She performed four tracks from her upcoming album, including ‘And I Am Telling You I’m Not Going’ from the movie ‘Dreamgirls’.

Jennifer said that she was incredibly thrilled to be performing there for such a prestigious New Year’s Eve celebration. When she was asked what her wishes for 2008 were, she said “My New Year’s resolution is to focus more and always be happy, even though I work all the time.”

In an irony to end all ironies, a woman was arrested to five days in jail for snapping a picture of R&B singer R Kelly in court. What about putting the guy with child porn charges behind bars? Or take him to trial at least!

49-year old Jean Johnson used her cellphone camera to take picture of Kelly during a recent hearing. She plead guilty to contempt of court and was sentenced to the 5 days.

R. Kelly may have been a no show to his court date the day prior but the singer wanted to be a good little boy and actually showed up 20 minutes early for his re-scheduled hearing on Thursday. He reportedly did not show the day prior because his tour buses were detained in Utah.A sharp looking Kelly arrived in court and paid no mind to the waiting paparazzi. The judge continued the hearing until Friday which meant that he would be in court during the day time and doing his other job of singing at Chicago’s United Center come night time.

Mom-to-be Lily Allen has spoken about her life in the new issue of Harper’s Bazaar. She talks about her body, her bad habits, her diet and exercise, Britney Spears, celebrity role models and even her relationship with Chemical Brothers member Ed Simons.She was asked whether her relationship with Ed has helped melt away the pounds. She responded with “I’m certainly getting more exercise in the bedroom…So yeah.” It’s also added some pounds – in the form of a baby! So here’s to hoping that Lily would quit smoking and that she won’t starve herself during this delicate period. Otherwise, she might give birth to something that looks like Amy Winehouse on a really bad day.

Ricky Martin showed accidentally shoed off his bon-bon when he flashed some major butt crack as he bent over on the security line at LAX airport on Saturday in Los Angeles. He apparently likes to go commando on us.The 35-year old Puerto Rican pop star also seems to be embracing his gray hair but also had a funky patch of long hair growing out of his cowlick. Is this the latest hair trend or is this because he’s become enemies with the stylist that outed him in a magazine? He should learn to just keep his friends close and his enemies closer. They have some use.

Umm, even with her perfectly coiffed hair, chiseled face, and packin’ hubby, Victoria Beckham (a.k.a. Posh Spice) has her not-so-good days.Take this weekend, for instance, at one of the Spice Girls reunion concerts. Maybe she should rethink the ridiculously skin hugging outfits because this one was hugging a little too tightly.

Enjoying a two day visit to Las Vegas, Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes finish up the trip by attending a Celine Dion concert at Caesar’s Palace.

Sources say the couple was very gracious and happily signed autographs for fans before the show. They then sat down to watch the two and a half hour show.

After the show, Tom and Katie went and spent some time meeting Celine. She said she was both excited and nervous about having them watch her performance.

Also that night, the couple enjoyed a romantic dinner at the SW Steakhouse at the Wynn. Another diner says they were holding hands and were “very lovey dovey”.

Wednesday night marked the christening of the new ‘Spice One’ Virgin Atlantic plane at Los Angeles International Airport. Naturally, the Spice Girls were there for a photo op. But a lot of people were in for a surprise when Emma ‘Baby Spice’ Bunton came out to join the rest of the girls on crutches. What happened to the baby? She got a booboo? Let’s just hope that her injury’s not too serious and wouldn’t impede her performance in any of their reunion tour dates. It’s a good thing she gets plenty of rest between shows.

The Spice Girls are getting ready to kick off a 17 night run in London this weekend. Wow!

When I hear the words Nobel Peace Prize Awards, I immediately envision a bunch of suits barely getting through a very boring and stuffy night. But that apparently isn’t the case when it comes to the Nobel Peace Prize. It can actually be quite the opposite.

On Tuesday evening, the hotness that can only be called Kylie Minogue gave the Nobel Peace concert spectacular in Oslo, Norway a jolt of electricity when she gave a very high-voltage performance. Well, that’s what usually happens when you put a hot girl with some hot songs and hot moves on any stage for a performance.

If you say Amy Winehouse is a hot mess, chances are that everyone around you would agree. And no one knows this fact better than her own mother. Mother knows best after all.

In an open letter which was published in the UK’s News of the World, Janis Winehouse pleaded for her daughter to get help. In the letter, Janis writes “You are still my baby and you always will be. I pile hope upon hope that you will make that decision, Amy, and your strong will can bend for just a moment to make that decision and come home to me… Early fame has overwhelmed you, it’s dizzied you and muddled your mind… remember you’re just an ordinary human being, no stronger than any of the rest of us. You think you’re strong enough to get through this on your own, darling, but you’re not.”

Lily Allen needs to make up her mind. She once said in an interview that the reason she started exercising to lose weight was because of a heart murmur but in the cover article of British GQ, she’s saying otherwise.

Lily is well known for publicly attacking every celebrity and she says “A lot of that stuff I said was because I didn’t feel confident. I felt like, ‘Oh God, I’m short, fat, ugly…and I hate all these people who flaunt their beauty.’ Ever since a kid I’ve felt like I’m possibly the uncoolest, naffest person ever to walk the earth. But I feel great at the moment. I actually don’t have one bad thing to say about anything.”

So did she lose weight for her health or did she lose it because she was insecure?

With Roberto Cavalli being the designer of the Spice Girls’ costumes for their upcoming reunion tour, we can all expect some very sexy and glamorous outfits gracing the bodies of the ladies.Roberto tells OK! magazine about how he came to be the designer for the tour saying “I have known Victoria Beckham for a long time and I have always admired her style and personality. When we talked about the worldwide tour The Return of the Spice Girls, she put forward the idea of me creating all their costumes to which I immediately agreed. While Red Hot Chili Peppers bassist Flea still has another home to sleep in, the person living in the Malibu house he owned that burned down can’t say the same. The said man happens to be musician/producer Butch Walker.

A source close to the rock star reveals that “Butch lost everything. He had been renting Flea’s house for a while and was in the process of buying it. The house completely burned down.” What’s especially crippling to Butch, who had a home studio, lost the masters to every song her ever recorded – computers, equipment, instruments, song lyrics, everything.

Friends of his are now rallying together to help get Butch the essentials like clothes for him and his baby and are hoping that someone in the position to help will.

Pre-teen fans are anxiously awaiting Billy Ray Cyrus’ upcoming film with daughter Miley. The Disney Channel stars are working out the details for the filming of their Hannah Montana movie. Cyrus is hoping filming will take place in their home state of Tennessee.

The movie is based on the duos popular Disney Channel series where Miley plays Miley Stewart, a young girl who moves from Tennessee to Malibu to live out the dream as a pop star. By day, she is simply Miley, a high school student who gets in her share of normal teenage scrapes. In the evening hours, she secretly performs as Hannah Montana, a popular musical performer.

In the proposed movie version, the Stewarts make a return visit to Tennessee. Billy Ray feels strongly that it should be filmed there as well.

Billy Ray reportedly told the Associated Press, “The thing of it is, Walt Disney really wants to film this movie in Tennessee.” The problem is that there may not be enough financial backing coming from state officials. It isn’t that officials don’t want the film, though. The executive director of the Tennessee Film, Entertainment, and Music Commission is quoted as saying, “It would mean a real impact on tourism and it would be a family friendly film that would come to the state.”

Louisiana is competing for the filming privileges. Tennessee officials are anxious to make their offer and see how it compares to that of Louisiana.

The Cyrus’ spent Thanksgiving in Tennessee with family and celebrated Miley’s 15th birthday with a sold-out concert show in Nashville. They are looking forward to the possibility of returning in April to shoot the film.

Lord knows why, but Amy Winehouse is completely lovesick despite having not much reason to be. The singer’s husband Blake Fielder-Civil is currently in jail for attempting to tamper with a case but Amy can’t get her mind off him even as she’s on a tour of the UK.

At a concert in Glasgow this past weekend, the troubled singer revealed how she plans to commemorate their upcoming six month anniversary. “I’m going to send him a bouquet of flowers. And I want everyone here to send Blake a red rose.”

Amy Winehouse was in between concert stops come Friday. You would think that she would take the time to rest up and gather some energy, but not our little Wino. The ‘Rehab’ singer was spotted leaving her London apartment at 3:45 AM early Friday morning. While most people are asleep at that time, Amy is up like the bat that got splatted on her eyes.

Maybe she couldn’t catch a wink because apart from the drama that has recently gone on in the past two weeks, Wino’s manager Thom Stone quit on Thursday because he was reportedly fed up with Amy’s continued use of heroin.
