I’ve heard of having your cake and eating it, but smearing on your face is a new one to me. I guess that’s what happens when you have to say goodbye to your twenties.
Britney’s ex-husband Kevin Federline took a night off from looking after their kids to celebrate hitting the big 3-0 this weekend.
The party took place at Pure nightclub in Las Vegas, the same venue that hosted Paris Hilton’s birthday last month, and Kev made sure it was one to remember.
Swigging Jack Daniels, he partied all night to some of his favourite tunes, and was presented with a cake at midnight - which pals decided to smear all over his face.
As well as friends and family, K-Fed was joined by his Lawyer Mark Vincent Kaplan - who is apparently fast becoming a celebrity in his own right.
At one point Kev grabbed a microphone and told the crowd: “I lost my voice at the craps tables and I lost all my money.” Although according to reports, lucky Kevin may have been paid as much as $160,500 in appearance fees to show up at his own birthday party.
So, every cloud…

Britney Spears has been told to pay $400,000 of ex-husband Kevin Federline’s legal bills in their child custody battle. The pop star’s lawyer said Federline should pay; claiming his attorney had hiked his fees.
She told how he recently tipped a waitress $2,000 on a $360 bill.
But a judge at a Los Angeles Court said Britney, 26, should pay as her actions caused most of the legal wrangles. He also favoured Federline, 29, for taking responsibility for kids Preston, two, and Jayden, one.

Sure, the whole ordeal has been a nightmare. Now, it has been reported that Sean Preston, Britney spears’ two year old son has been having nightmares and has been sleeping with father Kevin Federline.
Insiders also say that he cried for his father when he was first allowed to see mother Britney again. “Jamie told Kevin that Britney handled the visit well. She actually did cry but that was only because Sean cried when she took them from Kevin.”
Britney is being allowed visits as long as they are observed by a therapist or her father Jamie Spears.

Sources say an agreement has been reached with Kevin Federline for Britney Spears to finally get to see her children.
Aparently he has been working with her dad, Jamie, to set up supervised visits for Britney and boys Sean Preson, age 2, and Jayden James, age 1. A psychiatrist and Jamie will both be on hand to make sure things go well.
Reports have said all along that K-Fed wanted Brit to be able to see the boys as soon as she was well enough to do that

It goes from bad to worse with Britney Spears. When she isn’t stealing lighters worth pennies or driving over policemen’s’ feet; she is making up lame illness excuses to avoid being questioned in court. And now it seems that that little stunt may have backfired. It is rumoured that by failing to turn up at her court-ordered deposition this week; Britney Spears may be banned from appealing for custody of her children.
All because she couldn’t face a days worth of questioning about her drug habits, among other things, but could face a night out on the town til 2am on that very same night. Needless to say her ex-husbands lawyers are furious; and reportedly plan to ask the judge to bar Britney from asking for more custody rights.
Oh dear, it doesn’t look good. Already reports have been filed against her abilities as a parent, we have all seen the proof against her ability to drive…and yet somehow she is filing for adoption rights. The world is topsy turvy…

It’s been long overdue, if you ask me. But court documents released on Tuesday state that child welfare services are actually investigating Britney Spears for “multiple child abuse and neglect” allegations.
This information was included in a request from the L.A. County Department of Children and Family Services. They requested that the court unseal some of the documents regarding Britney, Kevin Federline, and their two sons, two-year-old Sean Preston and one-year-old Jayden James.
No specific allegations are mentioned, but family services agents did not request an alteration of the custody agreement at this time. Federline currently has custody of the boys because Britney fafiled to follow through with a court order for regular drug testing. She does, however, have supervised visits with the children.
Maybe this investigation will wake her up to the reality of the situation. Maybe she’ll start to put her children first and herself second. Maybe….

Take it for what it’s worth but Britain’s News of the World is reporting that Britney Spears is getting ready to adopt Chinese twins. She can’t even take care of her own two sons, what makes her think she can take care of two more? According to the paper, the pop wreck is telling her friends that “she’s in the final stages of talks with an adoption agency.” I’m actually surprised that she can find China on a map.
Brit and KFed recently had another round of custody talks about who gets the kids for Christmas and other holidays. Maybe that’s why Brit’s getting Chinese twins – to replace the boys that KFed’s getting.

Did we need court documents to tell us that Britney Spears made more money than Kevin Federline last year? Maybe not, but the papers that prove it were made public Thursday. For all those that rave on about how much child support Britney is paying: Keep in mind that if it weren’t for her former manager Larry Rudolph, she would also be paying alimony to two ex-husbands too! rudolph managed to get marriage #1 annuled, and managed to get Brit to sign a pre-nup at the last minute before marrying K-Fed. So she would be a lot worse off without Larry (whom she subsequently fired…). As for the child support payments — Yes, no one needs that kind of money for two kids. However, I think there is some wording along the lines of ‘living in the style to which they had become accustomed’ that usually comes into play in child support payments, and in alimony for that matter. In other words, if they live in luxury at Brit’s place, then they should at K-Fed’s too. That’s how the law works, folks. She was the dumbass that married him, so I don’t have an ounce of sympathy.
Britney Spears and Kevin Federline’s hugely awaited courtroom showdown ended with a ‘to be continued next week’.
The ex couple were together for the first time since their custody battle began. The two were grilled by Court Commissioner Scott M. Gordon during an almost 3-hour, closed-door session. No decision has been made when it comes to the custody of Sean Preston and Jayden James however.
KFed currently has full custody of their sons but one of Brit’s lawyers seems to be pleased and confident that something went right for them. However, Brit was visibly distraught and refused to comment when she came out. She even exited to go to the bathroom 3 times during the session. So who really knows what’s going to happen?
