    Katie Price has reportedly agreed to appear on I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here but will be paid a much higher fee than the other contestants.

    The 31-year-old glamour model is reportedly being paid £350,000 and will appear much later in the show than the other contestants who are getting around £65,000 each.

    A friend of one of the contestants said to UK newspaper The Sun: “This really is taking the Mick. We were pushing for more cash but were told things were tight this year. Now we know why.

    “If ITV are looking for trouble in the jungle, they will certainly get it once she turns up.”

    Katie, who has already appeared on the show in its 2004 series, is said to be breaking up the trip by flying to LA first to appear on a US show before making the final journey to Australia.

    Katie Price has reportedly visited a tattoo parlour to remove her husband’s name from her wrist.

    The 31-year-old model has been spotted partying in Ibiza while estranged husband Peter Andre, 36, has been looking after their three children in Cyprus.

    Price has been partying hard since the split and has been seen with ex-boyfriend Matt Peacock and another man called Anthony Lowther.

    Lowther said: “We’re having a great time together. Jordan is a really nice girl and very sexy. We’re being called boyfriend and girlfriend and it’s a bit scary. We’re just having a bit of fun while we are on holiday out here together. I really enjoy her company and we get along brilliantly.”

    However, when asked about their alleged night together in a hotel, he said: “Gentlemen don’t tell.”

    Katie, 31, was pictured on a boozy night out in Ibiza and she reportedly made foul-mouthed threats at a journalist whom she thought worked for new! magazine, for which estranged hubby Peter, 36, writes a column.

    Jessica Brown, who actually works for the Daily Star newspaper, said: “[Katie] thought I worked for new! magazine, which carried Peter’s weekly column. She flew at me with a manic look in her eyes and spat in my face: ‘I’m gonna cut your f***ing face. I swear to f***ing God, I’ll cut you.”

    Katie was later seen pulling up her dress and dancing with men on the dancefloor of the Eden club in Ibiza.

    A clubber said: “It was pretty steamy stuff. She kept hitching her dress up and didn’t seem to care that we could all see everything. She was grinding up against the lads and her girlfriends and their hands were all over her.”

    Meanwhile, Peter has been looking after their children on holiday in Cyprus.

A source said the following about Peter Andre’s new home purchase: “Pete has found his dream home for him and the children. He spent a week house-hunting, but knew within seconds of seeing this place it was ideal.” The singer himself said the following to Katie Price about the house: “This is where I want the kids to be.” That’s probably just a pretext or a bonus. Peter Andre probably just wants to throw eggs at Katie Price from his own yard.

    Peter Andre was reportedly locked out of the £3million mansion he shares with wife Katie Price after she reportedly changed the security alarm code following their split.

    Katie, 30, is preparing to jet back to the UK from her Maldives resort for crisis talks with hubby Peter, 36, after they announced their separation.

    Peter is said to be staying with his manager Claire at her West Sussex home.

    A pal said: “They have both tried to keep the break-up as civilised as they can, but with emotions running so high, this has proven nigh-on impossible.”

    Katie flew to the Maldives with the couple’s two children Junior, three, and Princess Tiaamii, one, while her older son Harvey remained in the UK.

    The pal added: “Pete’s main priority now is to see his children, and spend some much-needed time with them. He is house-hunting, looking for a place to rent with an option on it to buy.”

    The pal added: “Kate’s made it clear he can’t go back to their current home and as they sold their old place in Brighton, Pete is technically homeless.”

    The pal added: “He’ll be moving his stuff out piecemeal over the next few days, and has enlisted his brothers to help him choose a new pad. It must be within a 30-minute drive of his kids.”

    The pal added: “I don’t think either Pete or Kate wanted to divorce – but sadly that’s the way it all seems to be heading. Pete’s is a real family man and is desperate for joint custody of the children, so he doesn’t want to upset or antagonise Kate any more than he has to.”

    Piers Morgan has criticised those who questioned Katie Price’s mothering skills after her split with hubby Peter Andre.

    Katie, 30, and Peter, 36, recently revealed they are separating after three and a half years of marriage.

    Piers said: “I was very sad to hear about Katie Price splitting up from Peter Andre. I’ve known her a long time (we’re both from the Brighton area of East Sussex), and of course I recently interviewed her for my ITV show Life Stories.”

    He added: “She’s not everyone’s cup of tea, but then nor am I. The world would be so much more boring if everyone was a popular cup of tea, I always think.”

    The talent show judge stuck up for the model mum and praised her parenting skills of kids Harvey, six, Junior, three, and Princess Tiaamii, 22 months.

    He said: “But Katie’s a hard-working, tenacious, smart businesswoman who has built an extraordinary multi-million pound empire for herself out of what she admits is very little talent.”

    He added: “She’s also a very, very good mother. And that’s where I find so much of the criticism being dumped on her at the moment so unpalatable. One short holiday in the Maldives to escape the media frenzy surrounding her break-up does not make her an unfit mum.”

    He added: “The way that girl has brought up her son Harvey is quite extraordinary. Remember that his father, the feckless Dwight Yorke, has currently nothing to do with the poor boy.”

    He added: “Call Katie a self-promoting bigmouth, call her talentless, call her a show off. All those would be reasonably fair criticisms. But don’t call her a bad mother. Because she’s not.”

    And the former newspaper editor added: “And those in the press who seem so keen to use this split to slag her off for her parenting skills should back off and shut up.”
