Thrilled Kerry Katona last night gave birth to her fourth child — two days after going into labour.
Her son Max weighed 5lb 4oz — despite arriving five weeks early.
I recently told how Kerry, 27, was rushed to hospital on Wednesday as she was filming the last scenes for her reality show. Her waters broke amid fears that she was on the brink of collapse.
But her publicist Max Clifford said last night: “Kerry is fine. She had a natural labour after being induced at lunchtime and Max arrived at 5.42pm. Max is great, he’s a little small, but Kerry’s baby Heidi was only 4lb 9oz when she was born premature.”
Kerry had contractions just hours after revelations of how she had quit the fly-on-the-wall MTV documentary Crazy In Love because of health worries.
The ex-Atomic Kitten was due to give birth on May 19. She and hubby Mark Croft, 37, are also parents to Heidi, one.
Kerry is also mum to Molly, six, and Lilly-Sue, five, fathered by ex-Westlife star Brian McFadden.
Jennifer Lopez is taking the mom thing very seriously… I mean DIVA serious! People around the pop star are thinking that she’s already taking things a bit too far, except of course for Marc Anthony who agrees with everything she wants. According to insiders, the couple has hired 6 bodyguards for the twins – 2 baby bouncers for each 8-hour shift around the clock which costs them $600,000, not including the cost of benefits. Closed-circuit cameras have also been installed for almost every room in their many homes. Also, JLo has turned into a germophobe as people are pretty much instructed to scrub down before coming close to her twins.
After tons of anticipation, Jennifer Lopez finally delivers her twins. Reports say she and husband Marc Anthony welcomed twins at a Long Island hospital early Friday morning.
Baby Girl weighed in at 5 pounds, 7 ounces, while Baby Boy bounced in at an even 6 pounds. They were born eleven minutes apart, with her coming at 12:12 am and him arriving at 12:23 am.
J. Lo’s rep says, “Jennifer and Marc are delighted, thrilled, and over the moon.”
No word on their names just yet.
Sheryl Crow says motherhood has given her life a purpose. The ‘If It Makes You Happy’ singer, who adopted nine-month-old son Wyatt last year, is enjoying every moment of being a parent and the rewards it brings.
The 45-year-old star - who has successfully battled breast cancer - said: “Wyatt has changed everything for me, not only in how I look at my life, but right down to my sleep patterns! It’s been a wonderful experience having this little joyful, innocent spirit around. He’s rendered me fearless and also given me a sense of urgency about what I want to do with my life.”
Sheryl, who split from champion cyclist Lance Armstrong in 2006, adopted Wyatt alone and is grateful for the support her family has given her.
She said: “I don’t think I had any expectations about being a single mother, but I’ve had my family around a lot, so he’s not being entirely raised by a single parent. Whether it’s been easy or hard, it’s been a lot of fun.”
It’s been rumored that Jennifer Lopez has already given birth to her twins but unless we see their mugs on the cover of a magazine, I’m not believing them. There are new reports coming out though that JLo and her husband Marc Anthony have chosen names for their babies. Apparently, JLo’s mom Guadalupe had two gold-rope baby ID bracelets engraved in Yorktown Heights, New York when another shopper overheard her order. The couple has reportedly chosen the names Max and Emme for their soon-to-be-born twins. But like I said, I’ll believe it when I see it. Bring on the babies!
Christina Aguilera named her son Max Liron Bratman. Now, I don’t know about you but I’m wondering where she got that name. If you’re wondering just like me, you’re lucky that I have the answer.
The singer’s husband, music exec Jordan, is Jewish and she has a tattoo on her arm in Hebrew. The name Liron is of Hebrew origin meaning ‘my song’ while Max means ‘the greatest’. Now isn’t that the sweetest thing? Max Liron has been deemed as Christina’s greatest song. Now that is what you call a very loving mother. Britney may beat her in the numbers game but I bet Christina would beat her in motherhood.
It’s been long overdue, if you ask me. But court documents released on Tuesday state that child welfare services are actually investigating Britney Spears for “multiple child abuse and neglect” allegations.
This information was included in a request from the L.A. County Department of Children and Family Services. They requested that the court unseal some of the documents regarding Britney, Kevin Federline, and their two sons, two-year-old Sean Preston and one-year-old Jayden James.
No specific allegations are mentioned, but family services agents did not request an alteration of the custody agreement at this time. Federline currently has custody of the boys because Britney fafiled to follow through with a court order for regular drug testing. She does, however, have supervised visits with the children.
Maybe this investigation will wake her up to the reality of the situation. Maybe she’ll start to put her children first and herself second. Maybe….
Take it for what it’s worth but Britain’s News of the World is reporting that Britney Spears is getting ready to adopt Chinese twins. She can’t even take care of her own two sons, what makes her think she can take care of two more? According to the paper, the pop wreck is telling her friends that “she’s in the final stages of talks with an adoption agency.” I’m actually surprised that she can find China on a map.
Brit and KFed recently had another round of custody talks about who gets the kids for Christmas and other holidays. Maybe that’s why Brit’s getting Chinese twins – to replace the boys that KFed’s getting.
With the image of Britney’s tearful goodbye to her sons Sean and Jayden after their monitored visit with their momma, Britney is left wanting more time with her kids. She’s currently allowed visits from morning to early evening but Britney wants overnights with her boys.
Britney now has several clean drug tests and lawyers will use these tests and other evidences to make their case. Britney needs to show her face to the judge to show how much she cares about the kids.
On a side note, it appears that everyone in the clan, that is, Britney, Kevin, Sean Preston and Jayden James, all have pink eye. Wonder where they got it.
Reports are coming out that the real reason why Britney Spears’ visitation with her kids got nixed wasn’t because of a broken intercom but because she didn’t want anything to do with the parenting coach. Apparently, it’s Brit’s way or the highway.
Sources say that Britney was well aware of her kids coming at 10AM and even had phone conversations about it 10 minutes prior. Britney has been told for a long time now that she needed help in raising her kids but she doesn’t want anyone telling her how to be a good parent.
Her solution was to not answer the buzzer, let her kids cry in front of the house for 40 minutes before KFed’s bodyguard decided to pull the plug on the visit. Nice move Brit.
Kid Rock claims Pamela Anderson lied about a miscarriage during their brief marriage last year. The woman is a pig. I feel sorry for her boys. What a mother! If she was such a great mother as she claims to all, why would she act in such a way as to cause them grief? Let’s face it, kids are going to say stuff, and I am thinking it isn’t going to be flattering to their mother! It is going to be a hard life for these kids, in spite of mommy’s money and fame. Momma Bridget Moynahan posed with her 5-week old son for a spread in OK! What a beautiful mother and baby. Bridget has handled this whole situation with such grace and dignity. She was treated so horribly by the father of her child. She received absolutely no support during her pregnancy, nor since the baby has arrived. He hasn’t even come out once since the birth to hold and cuddle his firstborn son. Instead he is cuddling his super-sleaze Gi in front of everyone on the east coast. Enjoy this beautiful baby Bridget - you deserve it! This is what happens when you have a baby with someone who is not committed to you. It can turn into a sad situation. Tom should definitely be a father to his child, but if he doesn’t love her then he shouldn’t marry her. Being married to someone who doesn’t want to be is a recipe for divorce.
I think she and Brad are doing a great job trying to make more kids happy but the thing is that I don’t see them both happy anymore. They look like they struggle and I don’t understand why they do that to themselves? All those who think that she should open up an orphanage or something similar need to understand that both Angie and Brad would have would have thought about this many a times and would have not been able to find a solution in this regard. Damn man why always have negative thoughts about some celebrities going out of their way and trying to do something good for the needful. Once both of them are out of the country shooting or busy with some commitments and as disaster strikes the kids then the whole world especially the countries from where they have adopted the kids would be crying for the blood. They have adopted and they are the parents and parents always know what’s best for their kids, right dad!
E! News correspondent and Dancing with the stars co-host and her husband Michael Hess, a financial wholesaler, welcomed their first child together early Sunday morning, daughter Josselyn Sydney Hess. I am glad Samantha is now a mom, since she has the potential to be a very good mom. Congratulations to both parents for being blessed with a daughter. I love her on the show Dancing with the stars. She is so beautiful, and she and Tom B do a great job hosting the show. I hope she’ll take lots of time with her new baby, but I also look forward seeing her back on TV!
