Britney Spears and kids back in Louisiana
Britney Spears and her children Jayden James and Sean Preston went on an out-of-State trip to Kentwood, Louisiana, the first such trip after the court ruled on the custody battle between Britney Spearsand her ex Kevin Federline.
Britney Spears ended the week on a high note after her successful performance with Madonna at the Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles. Britney Spears was dressed in a very casual and proper tuxedo-lie white shirt and loose black pants. The brief “Human Nature” performance between Britney and Madonna was however unlike the 2003 Annual Video Awards where Britney’s onstage very intimate kissing scene with Madonna created a stir. This time, Madonna just hugged Britney and kissed her hands. Very tame indeed which goes well with the pop sensation’s struggle to rebuild her reputation. As indicated in Britney’s website immediately after the show, her performance with Madonna “was fun!”.
Aside from the brief vacation to Louisiana being their first out-of-state trip after the controversy involving Britney, it is also the boys’ first visit to the Spears family home. The visit will give the boys a chance to bond not only with their mom but also with their aunt Jamie Lynn. It is also a respite for Britney Spears who will be very busy come November for her turkey Thanksgiving show as well as for the promotion of “Circus” her latest album. -

Britney Spears Dances Hard
Britney Spears has really been working hard lately by putting hours upon hours into dance rehearsals for new routines. Her official website BritneySpears.com posted pictures of the 26-year old pop princess dancing with her choreographer Andre Fuentes and her back up dancers. And yes, she does have a whip. Choreographer Wade Robson has also confirmed that he’s reuniting with Britney. He said “She reached out to me and said she wanted to get the old team back together. So we’ll go into rehearsals in January for a March start.” Also confirmed, Britney recently shot the cover for an upcoming issue of Rolling Stone. You can expect her to look smoking hot in her photo spread. -
What the hell was Britney Spears thinking?
The sizzling hot “Crazy” singer has recently shown her regret on her much-publicized unpredictable and inconsistent behavior in public. She also discussed her loneliness in a forthcoming video.
Britney Spears very openly discussed her irresponsible attitude in the past saying, “I sit there and I’ll look back and I’m like: I’m a smart person. What the hell was I thinking?”
The ninety minutes duration film which is titled “For the Record” is produced in partnership with MTV.
The pop queen also said, “I’ve been through a lot in the past two or three years, and there’s a lot that people don’t know. Sometimes I think I get kind of lonely because you don’t open the gate up that much, you know I mean?”
She further added, “You’re guarded. You have to be that way, so I’m kind of stuck in this place and it’s like: How do you deal? And you just cope, and that’s what I do. I just cope with it, every day.”

No Britney Spears Sex Tape
Rumors came out that Britney Spears’ paparazzi ex Adnan Ghalib claimed that he had a sex tape featuring himself and the pop star. However, Adnan now tells Star that “There is no sex tape and I’ve never claimed there is one. I don’t know where these quotes I’m supposed to have said have come from. What I do know is they certainly didn’t come from me and they are completely false. I’m extremely upset and distressed and I’m taking legal action… This story has caused a lot of hurt to my family and people close to me. There is no sex tape. That is the end of the matter.”

Lynne Spears has already revealed too much in her “tell all” new book
Mother of the year contender, Lynne Spears has already revealed too much in her “tell all” new book, Through the Storm: A Real Story of Fame and Family in a Tabloid World.
In the book, she confirmed that Britney Spears lost her virginity at 14 to an 18 year old boyfriend, and that her daughter she started drinking at 13 and doing drugs at 15.
Her book comes out today is already on sale.
Can’t wait to see what else is in there! There’s so much juicy stuff in the book!
To try to encourage as many readers as possible, Lynne Spears is set to embark on a publicity campaign to hawk the new book.
She is tentatively scheduled to be a guest on the show on Sept 24th, her book release date.

Britney Spears on Top – One More Time
After a year’s downfall, Britney is back again for good.
Like her famous song, Britney is “One More Time” on the top of every celebrity poll.
According to a latest poll, the music enthusiasts have graded Britney’s performance at the MTV Video Music Awards 2008 on September 7 as the ‘Greatest Comeback Ever.’
The hot and sweet pop princess Britney Spears grabbed three awards during the ceremony.
The second place was secured by the British boy band “Take That”, for their comeback on the music arena in 2006 after an absence of 10 years.
Kylie Minogue managed to register the bronze-medal place for her comeback in 2006 after defeating cancer.
Britney! Stay at the place where you have reached after hard work.

LYNNE SPEARS SHARES THAT SHE IS A GOOD MOTHER
In an interview with People, Lynne Spears talks about her new book Through the Storm: A Real Story of Fame and Family in a Tabloid World, Lynne Spears proves that she is one of the world’s sickest mothers. she said she redo everything that happened to her family in a heartbeat, including the train wreck that is her daughter Britney.
Which mother would want to relieve their children’s hardships? Apparently, Lynne does. She says that:“I think you have to let them follow their dreams,” she says in a new interview with PEOPLE. “I think it would be worse in the end if you didn’t.”
But she does express regrets about not listening to her “gut” at times: “Was I the perfect mom? No.”Her teenage mother of a daughter thinks that Lynne is the perfect mom. According to Lynne, “Jamie Lynn loved the book. I started to cry because I told her, ‘I wanted so much for you to like it.’ And she got up and kissed me on the cheek and said, ‘Mama, thank you so much.’”
Her other children, Bryan and Britney, have yet to read the book. Can’t wait to hear their delusional reactions? -
Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake together again? NOT!
Contrary to the report by the New York Post that claimed that Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake would be teaming up to record a duet for her new album, Access Hollywood claims that no duet is “scheduled” to take place between Britney and JT. Justin’s rep claims that Justin “is not scheduled to be in the recording studio with Britney.”
The two pop stars last public appearance together was when they shared the stage with Aerosmith, Nelly and Mary J. Blige at the 2001 Superbowl.
To the generation who grew up in the 90’s, this piece of news is definitely a letdown. However, we must keep our hopes up.
Justin’s rep claims that he “is not scheduled” to record a duet with her. This means that it could change and that they can schedule their duet. Although it still doesn’t confirm anything, you can pretty much assume what the rep is and isn’t saying. Saying something “is not scheduled” means, in rep lingo, that they are waiting for the artist to decide on the project. -
Britney Spears Likes the Work
Britney Spears is definitely on the right track these days because she’s admitted that she actually likes to work now. In her interview with OK! Magazine, she says that she has written a song about her sons, Jayden James and Sean Preston, called ‘My Baby’ which will be released on her new album. Yes, the album really is taking form. Not only does she like to work on her music but she also likes to do some housework. When asked if she cooks and cleans, she said “I do. Usually the maid and I will cook together. [The boys] love my spaghetti… I get mad if the maid does all the housework. If she takes it all into her own hands, well, what’s for me to do? I’m a cleaning fanatic. Dusting is my favorite, and Windex-ing.” -
Jonas Brothers VMA
Congratulations are in order for the Jonas Brothers as their music video for ‘Burnin Up’ has been nominated for the 200 Video Music Award’s ‘Best Pop Video’ category. The other nominees up for the moon man include Britney Spears with ‘Piece of Me’, Danity Kane with ‘Damaged’, Tokio Hotel with ‘Ready, Set, Go!’ and Panic at the Disco with ‘Nine in the Afternoon’. Apart from being nominated, the band of brothers will also be debuting the second single from their new album ‘A Little Bit Longer’ during the VMAs which will air live from Paramount Studios in Los Angeles on Sunday, September 7, 2008 at 9PM ET.

Britney Spears filming reality TV show
Britney Spears is rumoured to be filming a new reality TV show.The ‘Piece of Me’ singer – who filmed ‘Britney and Kevin: Chaotic’ with her ex-husband Kevin Federline in 2005 – has reportedly ordered her entourage to carry professional video cameras with them at all times to capture her antics on film.
A source said: “Britney’s bodyguards and other staff members have been told to carry video equipment with them wherever they go so they don’t miss a thing. Whether Britney is high or low, feeling happy or sad, the cameras are there catching it all. Some of the footage is really explosive and it’s going to be must-see TV. Britney thinks a new reality show is just the thing she needs to help her kick start her career and prove to her fans she has put her recent troubles behind her.”
The singer – who received rave reviews when she appeared in two episodes of US TV sitcom ‘How I Met Your Mother’ earlier this year – was even videoed by her assistant while on holiday in Mexico this year, and her bodyguards have regularly been seen filming her.
Britney recently shot footage for Madonna’s upcoming Sticky and Sweet Tour. The footage, which includes the pair gyrating against each other and Britney losing her mind when she gets stuck in a lift, will be screened to fans of Madonna’s via 20ft screens.

Britney Spears Gets Rescued
Britney Spears was looking the best she has in a long time when she came out to support comedy couple Jim Carrey and Jenny McCarthy as they hosted Generation Rescue’s celebrity fundraiser in Los Angeles this past weekend. Generation rescue is an international movement of scientists, physicians and parents who are focused on research and treatment to recover children with autism. The organization is already helping over 20,000 children begin biomedical treatment. I wonder if Britney was one of them. Jenny, now a member of the board of the organization, became an activist for the cause after her son Evan was diagnosed with autism. -
Wanna Buy Britney’s Clothes?
I do, I do…but then I’d have to become anorexic and work out crazily to be able to wear any of them.Anyways, if you’re interested, seven pieces of Britney’s clothing will be auctioned off as a part of a Rock and Roll Auction. One of the auctioned items is going to be a tee worn by Brit when she was on the New Mickey Mouse Club.
Other items up for grabs? Costumes Britney wore for tours, outfits she wore to music awards, and the blue and white Santa dress she wore in a 2000 Pepsi ad.
The auction will be online between July 21 and August 6.

Britney Spears Gets Another Chance
Britney Spears had an unforgettable performance at the 2007 MTV Video Music Awards but that doesn’t mean she doesn’t get another chance in 2008. President of MTV Networks Music Group Van Toffler said during a recent interview “Everyone deserves a second or third chance, right? I’m not sure how we top Britney opening the show. We are working on it every minute of every day.” This year’s MTV Video Music Awards airs live on September 7 from Paramount Pictures Studios in Los Angeles. They will reportedly have performances and presentations take place anywhere between a sound stage to a roof to a sidewalk.

And Welcome, Baby Spears
I know you were holding your breath in anticipation, but the day has arrived. A special welcome is in order for the new daughter of Jamie-Lynn Spears and boyfriend Casey.
Maddie Briann was born at Mississippi Southwest Regional Medical Center in McComb, Mississippi. She arrived via C-section at 9:30 AM on July 19th. She weighed in at 6 pounds, 10 ounces.
Seems mom and baby are doing fine. We should all say a special prayer for the poor child who was introduced to the Spears family.

Britney’s mum’s memoir released
Lynne Spears’ memoir is set to be released later this year.
‘Through the Storm: A Real Story of Fame and Family in a Tabloid World’ – which will tell how Lynne raised her famous daughters Britney and Jamie Lynn – was put on hold after news emerged of 17-year-old actress Jamie Lynn’s pregnancy, but the publisher has now confirmed it will be available from September.
A spokesman for Thomas Nelson publisher said: “When Jamie Lynn got pregnant, it was put on hold. Lynne never stopped working on it because she wants to express her love for her children and tell their stories through a mother’s eyes.”
The book will document the trials and tribulations Lynne has been through during her 26 years of motherhood. It is expected to feature Britney’s phenomenal rise to pop superstardom and her recent public meltdown, as well as Jamie Lynn’s success on children’s TV show ‘Zoey 101′.
The spokesman added: “This will not be a parenting book. It’s her story of what it was like being a mom and raising two very famous people. It’s a memoir.”

Britney Spears is Back on TV
It’s official! The recovering starlet that is Britney Spears will be going back to the set of the CBS comedy ‘How I Met Your Mother’ for an episode which is set to air on May 12. She will be reprising her role as Abby, a receptionist at a dermatologist’s office who got love struck with Ted. The synopsis of her episode ‘Everything Must Go’ says “Barney and Abby realize that they have one thing in common, their mutual hatred of Ted. The new ‘couple’ decides to go to the bar to flaunt their new relationship in Ted’s face. Desperate to get a rise out of his former pal, Barney pops a surprising question to Abby.” Executive producer and co-creator Craig Thomas said that “We’re all so thrilled to have Britney joining us once again.” Neil Patrick Harris must be so happy… not! -
Britney Spears Acts Innocent
Britney Spears may not have broken any laws in her fender bender on Saturday night but she may have thought that she did and tried to cover it up. In a video shot by CelebTV.com, you can clearly see the recovering pop wreck hop over from the driver’s seat into the passenger seat in the aftermath of the 3-car crash. Did she consider telling people that she wasn’t the one driving only to change her mind later? In any case, everyone knows that Britney isn’t the best driver. It was a minor crash anyway. I’m sure she can be let off. -
Britney Spears Not Wanted Back
Britney Spears is one unwanted pop wreck on the CBS sitcom that she recently appeared on last month – at least according to one of its stars. In an exclusive interview with AP, ‘How I Met Your Mother’ star Neil Patrick Harris says he doesn’t want Brit back. It was nothing personal. It’s just that he doesn’t think they need recovering wrecks on the show for cheap ratings’ boosts. He also said that he was in the minority that the show doesn’t need stunt casting in order to succeed. There were rumors that Brit might make another appearance on the show after her first one came off great. Producers have reportedly been receptive to the idea. Things aren’t looking good on Neil’s part then.
