Nicole Kidman will play Dusty Springfield in a forthcoming biopic.
The Oscar-winning Australian actress will play the 60s pop icon in the movie which will document Dusty’s troubled life, which included problems with drugs and alcohol, and mental health issues.
The ‘Son of a Preacher Man’ singer was also secretly bisexual in a time when it was taboo.
Michael Cunningham, writer of ‘The Hours’, for which Kidman won her Oscar, is working on the screenplay for the film, and has vowed not to shy away from the controversial aspects of Dusty’s life.
Cunningham said: ‘Dusty was a great artist who no one knew what to do with. But she is clearly going into history with the Beatles and the Rolling Stones.’
Dusty - whose hits include ‘You Don’t Have to Say You Love Me’ and ‘I Only Want to Be With You’ - died in 1999, aged 59, after losing her battle against breast cancer.
Jennifer Aniston is dating top US musician John Mayer, it emerged yesterday.
The former Friends star, 39, has been spotted having romantic meals with the 30-year-old singer-songwriter.
Mayer spent “all weekend” with her at the Mandarin Oriental in Miami, Florida.
A source said: “He’s held her hand on at least two very intimate dinners.”
Aniston, who divorced Brad Pitt in 2005, and Mayer also cuddled on a private beach. They then arranged for a restaurant to open early so they could eat in private.

Rumors continue to fly concerning Heath Ledger’s sudden death. The Post has reported that Heath was a regular cocaine and heroin user over the past year. Reports now say that is what caused the breakup between Heath and Michelle.
A “friend” of Heath’s (who did drugs with him) told The Post that “she couldn’t take it anymore. Heath wouldn’t show up for two or three days, and all of a sudden he would show up on her doorstep, an absolute wreck.” Michelle gave Heath a choice between her and Matilda or the drugs. It was a choice Heath had trouble making.
While many have said it was an overdose that caused his death, no official word will be released until toxicology reports are back.

Queen Latifah is one of the few celebrities who has been proud of her plus-sized figure over the years. According to Jenny Craig’s people, her ads won’t be about getting smaller or fitting into a certain size dress, but will be focused on living a healthier lifestyle.

It’s been 18 months in the making, and Izzy, I mean Katherine, is ready to just get it over with.
“I’m mostly panicking about all the details, and getting there, traveling, transportation, talking to the pastor, getting the license.” Once that’s all said and done, they’re ready to work on kids.
“I’m super excited to start a family,” she says, “I’ve always wanted a family, a large family. But I say that now!” Katherine says she would like to be a mom within a year (rushing, maybe?) but beau Josh Kelly wants to wait a couple.

Enjoying a two day visit to Las Vegas, Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes finish up the trip by attending a Celine Dion concert at Caesar’s Palace.
Sources say the couple was very gracious and happily signed autographs for fans before the show. They then sat down to watch the two and a half hour show.
After the show, Tom and Katie went and spent some time meeting Celine. She said she was both excited and nervous about having them watch her performance.
Also that night, the couple enjoyed a romantic dinner at the SW Steakhouse at the Wynn. Another diner says they were holding hands and were “very lovey dovey”.

Ok it has to be a celebrity thing. I myself am currently seven months pregnant and despite the fact everyone says you “bloom” and “look beautiful”; the best way I can describe the way you feel is whale like. But recently we have seen naked celebs on the front of magazines showing of their perfect bodes with their perfect baby bumps. It’s enough to make a normal woman like me a) mightily jealous and b) a little bit sick.

Hey guys who ever has been following them and peeping into their private lives is a jerk because most probably he would be the same person who has posted the story that Owen is also trying to get back with Kate Hudson. So like is he trying them both out and falls into that silky laps either of the two who ever gives him the much needed love he eagerly awaits or is this the complete fantasy of some jerk who is trying to make a nice gossip story for us to read. Just the other day I read that Kate and Owen have been hanging out and sending emails and texts to each other in what would be a attempt to rekindle their broken love saga that almost ended Owen life. And what ever he is up to what the hell do we derive from his meeting Jessica or Kate. Don’t you dare break his heart, Jessica? That man’s been through a lot.
