Whoopi Goldberg would never appear on reality show

The View star Whoopi Goldberg has said there would be ‘no price’ for her to appear on a reality show.

The 54-year-old actress, who starred opposite late actor Patrick Swayze in movie Ghost, admitted that she is not keen on appearing on any reality shows.

She said: “I’m a bit of a snob when it comes to reality shows. There’d be no price. I live in reality. I don’t need to watch other people’s.”

Goldberg is a host on the US chat show The View and criticised the UK version of the show, Loose Women.

She said: “I have a live show every day called The View. Your version is called Loose Women. I’ve been on that show [last April]. They’re very smart women, but I thought they could be edgier.

“The View gets into all kinds of discussions, not just girlie stuff, but politics and stuff that’s happening. I guess that’s not what the folks want in the UK.”
