Simon Cowell has been voted one of the all-time greatest leaders in a poll

Simon Cowell has been voted one of the all-time greatest leaders alongside Martin Luther King and Moses in a new poll by teenagers.
The 50-year-old music mogul made the top ten of the poll by The Prince’s Trust to find out who 1,000 teenagers think are the all-time greatest leaders.
England and Chelsea footballer John Terry made the top 10, while Cowell won the same percentage of votes as Mother Teresa and Henry VIII.
Joanna Lumley also won a place in the poll after her work for the rights of the Gurkhas and Lord Alan Sugar from The Apprentice also polled.
US president Barack Obama and Nelson Mandela came in the top three of the poll.
The survey was done as a new Government-backed campaign, Youth of Today, is launched which aims to create a generation of inspirational young leaders.
Adam Nichols, from Youth of Today, said: “People think that youth today only aspire to be like celebrities but they’re wrong. This campaign will give young people more inspiration closer to home.”
