Portuguese footballer Cristiano Ronaldo is in the middle of a bidding war for his mansion as a host of players are trying to buy the property.
Cristiano, 24, recently signed an £80 million transfer deal to move to Spanish club Real Madrid. The star has since put his seven-bedroom mansion in Cheshire, UK, up for sale.
The footballer bought the property for £3.85 million in 2008 and it has since gone up for sale at £4.5 million. Players bidding for the property include Carlos Tevez, 25, Emmanuel Adebayor, 25, and Gareth Barry, 28.
However, player Kolo Toure, 28, is currently leading the bid after putting in an offer of £5.5 million.
A source said: “All the big players signing for City are having a sniff around Cheshire for the best house.
“Toure has made the biggest offer so far, but the others haven’t given up on the chase yet. They all have deep pockets.”

Michael Jackson’s Live In Doctor Target for Manslaughter Charge
Dr. Conrad Murray is now officially the target of a manslaughter investigation into the death of the King of Pop Michael Jackson. A search warrant authorizing the seizure of documents at a storage locker in Houston says law enforcement was hunting for “items constituting evidence of the offense of manslaughter that tend to show that Dr. Conrad Murray committed the said criminal offense.” The person who runs the facility says people from the shady doctor’s office visited the storage locker six times recently, the last time being the morning of the iconic singer’s death. All signs are pointing to Dr. Murray as the suspect after allegedly giving Michael a lethal dose of the anaesthesia Propofol.

Mel Gibson reportedly attacked man trying to take his picture at club
Hollywood star Mel Gibson reportedly attacked a man who was trying to take his picture at a club in LA.
Mel, 54, attended the grand opening party for new club Playhouse with his pregnant girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva.
It is claimed the Braveheart actor settled into the VIP area with Oksana and a group of pals, and a fellow club-goer said: “Mel looked so happy and in love.”
However, later in the evening, a reporter allegedly posed as a fan to take a picture of the star and his girlfriend. The star’s security team then took the camera and deleted the images.
However, when the reporter sent a pal to take another picture, Mel reportedly attacked the man.
A source said: “Mel approached the guy who tried to take his picture and ripped his shirt.”
The source added that the man was later attacked by Mel again while on his way to the police station to report the incident.

Paris Hilton’s mum Kathy has denied claims that she is related to Jon Gosselin’s latest girlfriend Kate Major.
Kathy was reportedly angered at reports that Kate had told people in her early reporting career that Kathy was her aunt and could get information about Paris Hilton.
Kathy said: “This is news to me. I have no idea who this woman is, but I will be looking into it because if she was using our name that is very dishonest.
“My parents divorced when I was very young and I have several half brothers and sisters. I’m not in touch with them all but her name is not familiar. “I will be going through my list because I certainly don’t remember speaking with any Kate Major.”
Kathy’s daughter also said she had no knowledge that Kate was related to her family.

I’m actually surprised that it took her so long. After many months of rumors and proof that LeAnn and Eddie had an affair, the country singer and her backup dancer husband have finally parted ways. A source reveals to People “LeAnn and her husband have been separated for quite some time now, but they continue to try and work through their relationship.” I doubt they’d be able to work it out. I’m already counting the days until LeAnn goes public with Eddie.

Russell Crowe left charity shop a generous donation
Hollywood actor Russell Crowe reportedly left a charity shop in shock when he left a generous money donation.
Russell, 45, visited the Cancer Research store in Sunningdale, Berks, during time off from filming his new Robin Hood movie.
A volunteer said: “We couldn’t believe it when Russell Crowe came in and gave us the money. We had been hoping to catch a glimpse of him.
“We were all a bit star-struck, but it was lovely to meet him and he stopped and had a bit of a chat with us.”
The star is filming his new Ridley Scott-directed flick Nottingham in the UK alongside fellow Aussie star Cate Blanchett.

G-Force star Bill Nighy has said he is ‘proud’ to be starring in the world’s first guinea pig movie.
Bill, 59, stars in the new movie which revolves around a team of specially-trained secret agent guinea pigs.
Talking about the flick, which also features the voices of Nicolas Cage and Penelope Cruz, he said: “It’s the first guinea pig movie the world has ever known so I’m proud to be at the birth of a genre.
“I was in the very first, and probably I think only remaining, rom zom com [romantic zombie comedy] which was a thrill.”
He added: “Everything about it was good and there were very cool people attached in the form of Penelope Cruz, Sam Rockwell, Nicolas Cage, and Tracy Morgan.”

Eddie Cibrian has been dumped by his wife Brandi Glanville. Eddie was attacked by the media for allegedly cheating on his wife with his Lifetime movie co-star, county singer LeAnn Rimes, a few months back when the two were caught kissing on hidden camera video. The following months after that were still riddled with rumors that Eddie and LeAnn were still hooking up. The final straw for Brandi was when her soon-to-be ex and his mistress were caught outside of one of LeAnn’s friends in Malibu. Brandi said “Eddie and I have decided to take some time apart. I want to do what is best for our children. Eddie and LeAnn deserve each other.”

Megan Fox, 23, the super-hot star of Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, says she bonds with better with guys than gals.
“I actually only had one female friend growing up,” Fox told a UK magazine.
“Most of my friends were boys. I was such a tomboy. I always enjoyed doing guy things.
“So I really didn’t get along with the girls in that aspect. My one girlfriend lives in Florida and she works in a mall. She’s the furthest thing from an actress.”
Fox does not usually bond with her female co-stars and has admitted to not hitting it off with Lindsay Lohan when they worked on the Disney hit Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen.

Queen emails out for Bruno screener
Bruno will screen for the Queen in private.
The Royal Family are reported to have requested a private screening of the outrageous comedy about a gay Austrian fashionista that has sent censors around Europe into a tizzy.
Universal Pictures received a request by e-mail for the 18-rated movie for the Royals. A source said, “We often get e-mails from important people requesting prints for private screenings. But when we realised it was for the Royals, there were a few chuckles. It isn’t for the faint-hearted.”
The UK has offered two versions of the movie to run concurrently, while it was completely banned in the Ukraine.
Its box office success in the US has taken critics by surprise. They include some gay groups who believe the farcical movie has taken stereotypes of gays too far. Sacha Baron Cohen, however, has failed to impress film reviewers who charge the movie is a rehash of his previous film, Borat.

Rupert Everett apologises for sodomy joke
British actor Rupert Everett has apologised to his family after making rude jokes during a new documentary about poet Lord Byron.
The 50-year-old gay actor visited Istanbul in Turkey for the documentary and said: “Byron said the only difference between the English and Turks was the English spent all their time whoring and drinking, while the Turks preferred sodomy and sherbet.”
He added: “I’m looking forward to a bit of sodomy and sherbet myself.”
But The Next Best Thing actor apologised to his family for making the comments at the launch of the two-part show, called The Scandalous Adventures of Lord Byron.
He said: “Sorry granny, sorry mum. I’d better say sorry. My grandmother, who is aged 99, might be sitting in front of the television, swallowing her false teeth.”

The Proposal star Ryan Reynolds has revealed that he never thought co-star Sandra Bullock would go ahead with her naked scene in their new movie.
Bullock, 44, plays the role of pushy boss Margaret Tate opposite Reynolds, 32, in the new romantic comedy.
Talking about the nude scene, Ryan said: “I didn’t think we’d shoot it, to be honest, because she [Bullock] has never done a head-to-toe nude scene before.
“I just thought: ‘Oh, she’s just going along with it and once we actually get closer to it, she’ll say we need to rewrite this.’ No way. She was 100 per cent in…
“About two weeks before, we were having dinner one night after work, and I said: ‘Seriously, are we doing the nude scene or what, are you really going to do this?’
“And she said, ‘Absolutely.’”

Harry Potter star Bonnie Wright has admitted she was “shocked” to find out her character Ginny would be marrying Harry at the end of the story.
Bonnie, 18, plays protagonist Harry’s love interest in the books and she had no idea about the way the books would go when she signed up for the role.
When Bonnie started work on the first film Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone, author JK Rowling had only written four out of the seven novels and Bonnie said the author suggested something big would happen.
Bonnie said: “She gave me a hint a while back. She said: ‘Get excited about book seven – you’ll be doing something really big!’
“But I was pretty shocked when I found out I would end up marrying Harry.”
Bonnie admitted fame can be scary as a lot of the press stories written about her aren’t true.
She said: “It’s a little daunting. It’s a bit odd to see websites that people have set up about me – it’s lovely that they’re supportive, but it can be a little bit creepy!
“And I’ve already seen a few odd things written about me. One newspaper said I hooked up with Zac Efron at the 17 Again premiere in London – I didn’t even talk to him!”

Footballer David Beckham is reportedly considering a move back to his old club Tottenham.
David, 34, is said to be looking for houses in London as he prepares to think about leaving LA Galaxy to return to the Premiership. His contract with the Galaxy is up in November when the season ends.
Becks attended Tottenham’s school of excellence before he signed with Manchester United and his family are said to be fans of the club.
A family friend said: “They are looking at properties in London. Most fans associate David with United, but his first club with Spurs and his family are massive fans. It’d be like returning to his spiritual home.”
The club’s manager Harry Redknapp admitted he would love to snap Becks up to play for the club.
He said: “To have someone like Beckham at your club… if the opportunity came and someone said he was available, any club would have to think about it.”

Hollywood couple Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are reportedly thinking about teaming up again for a sequel to Mr and Mrs Smith.
Brad, 45, and Angelina, 33, met on-set of the film in 2005 and it is now claimed they are thinking of a sequel to the assassin flick.
The pair have reportedly spoken to the film’s screenwriter about a sequel and reports say they want it to focus on their characters’ married life with their children.
A family pal said: “They’re hoping lightning will strike twice and they can re-spark the magnetism that captivated them five years ago.”
The pal added to The National Enquirer: “The romantic action film was penned by screenwriter Simon Kinberg. He’s become close friend of the couple, and Brad’s asked him to write the Mr & Mrs Smith sequel.”

That’s what the employees of a California pizzeria recently found out. It’s being said that the rapper and his tour mate Stephen Marley placed a $900 order with Big Louie’s Pizzeria in Eureka last week. Instead of asking for cash, the restaurant put in a request for concert tickets instead. The two musicians agreed and forked over 12 tickets and a bunch of shirts and hats. If you’re wondering what they ordered to rack up that big a bill, Snoop and Stephen ordered pizza (Stephen stuck to vegetarian pies while Snoop got chicken pesto and chicken garlic extreme), 6 pounds of BBQ ribs and hot wings.

Johnny Depp reveals fantasy female role
Public Enemies star Johnny Depp has said his “dream role” is to play singer/actress Carol Channing in a biopic film.
Johnny, 44, has played a number of high-profile roles on screen such as Edward Scissorhands, Sweeney Todd, Captain Jack Sparrow and Willy Wonka.
He said he would most like to play Channing, who was born in 1921 and is best known for her role as Lorelei Lee in the stage version of Gentlemen Prefer Blondes.
Depp said: “My dream role would be to play musical legend Carol Channing in a biopic of her life. I love her, I really do. She’s amazing.
“With all the digital technology available these days, I could probably pull it off.”
He added: “I’d have a go at playing a 12-year-old girl if they asked me to.”

Michael Jackson’s closest friend Elizabeth Taylor did not go to his memorial service because she was snubbed by the star’s family, it was claimed.Taylor publicly said she did not want to go as she intended mourning privately for the late King of Pop.
But columnist Cindy Adams claims that the actress did not go after the family refused to invite her to any of the private events.
“Elizabeth Taylor was snubbed. Not accidentally. Deliberately. Willfully. Given short shrift. Put on the B-Minus list,” Cindy Adams wrote in the New York Post.
“Understand, as I’d reported before his death, she’s confined to a wheelchair. “Still, despite her physicality, with staffers and nurses and assistants and whoevers, she was flying to London for his concert opening.
“Hopping a ride on the private plane of my friends, publisher Dwight Opperman and his author wife Julie Chrystyn. So, when it comes to Michael, she sure wasn’t looking to hide.
“The family purposefully dissed her. Didn’t want her. Offered her a seat someplace in the Staples Center, but not with them.
“Not near them. Nor was the world’s most famous name given an invite or access to any of their private events. Not one.
“Why? Because she was always Michael’s friend. Not the family’s. Michael’s. They resented her.
“Elizabeth Taylor was crushed. She’s still crying.”
