Jonas Brothers are officially set to appear on Barbara Walters’ Oscar special! Other guests will include Mickey Rourke, Anne Hathaway and Hugh Jackman. Be sure to tune in Feburary 22nd at 7pm on ABC to catch the intimate interview with Kevin, Joe and Nick.

Kate Winslet’s flying fear
Director Husband Sam Mendes, who is the husband of this year’s Oscar nominated actress Kate Winslate do not fly together at any time. That because the two are very concerned that if there ever is a plane crash resulting in death of both then their kids would be orphaned.As per a spokesperson representing the couple who also happened to be a part of the cast in the recently released movie ‘Revolutionary Road’ ” Where possible, Kate and Sam do prefer to travel in separate planes. ”
“It is not always possible but, for obvious reasons regarding the children, they do travel separately when they can.”
That’s really smart thinking on the part of the two. The plane that landed in the Hudson river earlier this month had no causalities but such things are rarely repeated in aviation history. Both of them are so worried abut their kids because kife of kids without parents is so miserable.

Fergie to adopt a child!
Earlier this month singer Fergie and Josh Duhamel got married at private ceremony in Malibu. The two also reached a decision that once married they would look to start a family soon. Josh was the more inclined of the two while predictably Fergie did not want to get pregnant for professional reasons.Josh planned that their honeymoon was the perfect time to do just that. But as soon as they started with their honeymoon plans Fergie resented. Fergie clear that she would not like to be pregnant so soon and after deliberation they reached a solution, that they would adopt a child.
A friend of the two has told a magazine that “They decided that adopting is the perfect solution. They can start their family without Fergie having to put her on the back burner.”
Fergie has clearly made the correct decision, they have barely completed a month into their marriage there are many more important things on the mind of a female than just giving birth to a child and ruining a successful music career. After pregnancy the face values of celebrities reduces as their physical appearances changes. By adopting a kid both of them will be satisfied.

Jessica Simpson in British Pantomimes
The actress has supposedly been advised by Steve Guttenberg to try a role in pantomimes. He said: “I’ve been talking to her about when I did my stint in Bromley, UK, and she’s keen to experience the panto for herself. I told her how I’d picked up 100 grand for four weeks’ work – that’s going to appeal to anyone!” Is Jessica Simpson in need of money or what? I thought famous movie stars don’t even mention sums and they do everything just for the love of acting and not for the material benefits. Could I have been wrong? But 100 thousand for four weeks sounds a bit little from Jessica Simpson, especially with her singing career and all.

Tell-all book threatens Angelina Jolie
The Awards season is nearly over but nothing yet for Angelina Jolie and lover Brad Pitt, both of whom have been nominated for their roles in “Changeling” and “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button” respectively. If that is not enough to make the couple a bit frustrated then here’s another one that will blow Angelina’s top. Jolie will surely get a heart attack when she hears that her former bodyguard Mickey Brett is coming out with a tell-all book about her. Brett, who worked for Jolie from 2000 to 2007, did not reveal any of the juicy things he would tell-all about Jolie but for sure, it will include some parts about Pitt since he was still with Jolie when the two got together.Sources said Brett knew everything about Jolie and the tell-all book would be very explosive. He is however getting some help from a ghostwriter. The question though is why would someone apparently close to Jolie for almost seven years backstab her? Pitt allegedly fired him last year and believe it or not, Brett never signed a confidentiality contract while he was employed by Jolie making him free to divulge everything he knows. There are reports that the book will include juicy details of how the two started to become a pair while Pitt was still married to Jennifer Aniston. Jolie has already sought the help of a legal mind to stop Brett from writing the book.

Kate Winslet’s image complex
The actress from “Revolutionary Road” recently admitted that she used to feel fat and unhappy as a child: “As a young girl, I never felt attractive. I was fat and unhappy at times and that kind of thinking stays with you your entire life. There’s always going to be a part of me that worries about not looking as slim as other actresses.” And all of this after she’s been credited back and forth about her good looks. However, Kate Winslet also adds the following about her appearance: “At a certain point, when you achieve a lot of your goals and you can be proud of your work, you start to relax more about who you are. And that includes your appearance and self-image – I don’t think I look too bad for a mother of two.” This is a bit confusing. So does Kate Winslet actually still feel like she doesn’t measure up to other actresses or does she feel that, given the circumstances, she’s comfortable where she is. Oh the paradox… -
Renee Zellweger’s nose freeze:
The actress suffered from what she calls “the nostricles” during the shooting of the “New in town” film in Canada. Renee Zellweger explains this new affliction and comments on it: “My worst moment while making the film was nostricles, which are not sexy. You don’t know that your nose is running because you can’t feel it. It just freezes before you realize you need a Kleenex. Boy, I tell you, that’s funny.” And what’s the harm in it being funny? And after all, Renee Zellweger could probably score big bucks if she were to sell the shots in which this happens. I’m sure the paparazzi would be all over it like the plague over Europe. -
What’s Wrong with Lady Gaga?
What the heck happen? Did the world come to an end? Did hell freeze over? Lady Gaga was seen out and about wearing pants! And not just that, her outfit looked pretty normal. But before you start fearing that she is turning away from her unique self, take a look at her hair. It’s like Minnie Mouse was reincarnated into a human. How does she come up with these things? Her style is really like no one else’s. Pants or no pants, bow of hair or no bow of hair, I still love Lady Gaga. Mama works it like no one else does. Fierce!

Katie Holmes to star in a comedy flick
There are reports that Hollywood actress Katie Holmes has signed up to star in a big screen comedy The Extra Man. The Dawson’s Creek star has been a star performer in the recently completed Broadway play All My Sons and was widely appreciated for her work.You know what man, it is her Broadway stint that has landed her this new acting offer and not at all a direct result of Tom Cruise being a influential Hollywood celebrity. She has worked not only hard but during that period she has developed herself as an actress who will now be taken more seriously for her acting skills rather than being the wife of a person once rated as the most powerful person in Hollywood.
By the way she is also the mother of the beautiful little girl Suri and just because she is her mother Katie deserves to have some good offers come her way and then when Suri grows up she will automatically be the toast of the entire fashion and media world.

Britney Spears Autobiography in the making
Britney Spears is on her way to writing her own autobiography wherein she plans to reveal all about her colorful life and she is reportedly negotiating to sign a publishing deal worth $14 million.Britney’s journey into the world of show biz started in 1992 when she featured on the Disney TV show The New Mickey Mouse Club and then later went on to launch her own solo career which turned her into one of the most famous singers on the planet.
Yeah, milking money from a little success that has come her way and that’s what everyone is looking to do, make merry while it all last or there won’t be a dime left over once these girls are past their prime.
There is nothing that she has done till date that is creditable enough to be worth a full book she going putting in all the stuff about her million crushes and when she lost her virginity and all that stuff without some of these things it’s going to take her ages to complete a worthwhile autobiography.

Oprah shifts entire show to Washington D.C. Barack Obama Inauguration Day
In the words of Oprah Winfrey, Washington D.C. is the place to be this week and she has taken her entire crew and show to the capital of the United States of America. “On this very special MLK day, I can’t think of any place I’d rather be in the world than right here, right now,” Winfrey said.And she’s not the only high profile celebrity, from artist Bono to Springsteen, to Stevie Wonder have already reached there well in advance.
U2 frontman Bono said “What a thrill for four Irish boys from the north side of Dublin to honor you sir.”
It is being said that residents of the apartments and other properties near by the White House have rented their homes and villas for as much $150,000 just for this week so that guest from all over the country and also the world can get a glimpse of the festivities that are taking place to usher in America’s new president Barack Obama.

Speed the Plow producers file grievance vs Piven
Jeremy Piven may be feeling slightly better after his scary mercury poisoning experience a few months back but here’s something that can make Piven puke all the more but its definitely not mercury! Apparently not believing Piven’s doctor that he can indeed become a walking thermometer if he does not slack back a bit due to the increasing mercury content in this body, the producers of Speed the Plow– the show from where Piven bowed out prematurely due to his condition—filed a grievance versus Piven. There is however no information from the Jeffrey Richards Associates nor from the Actors Equity Association as to why the grievance was filed.
The producers can file a grievance in case of contract violation. However, there are a lot of things that can happen after filing a grievance including going into arbitration but one thing any actor would not want to happen is the Randy Quaid death sentence. This refers to the banning of Quaid last February from the Actors Equity forever. However, only grievances filed by his fellow actors can effectively remove anyone from the union. Piven said he would have wanted the show to last forever and would have loved to continue with his role were it not for his doctor’s insistence.

Britney Spears is definitely back! Britney Spears has been on a strict diet in her bid to regain her post pregnancy figure and it looks like she has not only conquered the stage back but has also conquered her weight loss challenge. Photos of Spears’ new killer abs are doing the rounds in the Internet and any celebrity site worth your while is showing off Britney’s website photo with her in Lisa Kline J’aime Drawstrong pants with an exposed abs. Spears has managed to shed off 20 pounds trimming down her waistline thanks to a two-hour workout consisting of cardio and strength training three times every week. Considering that she also goes to dance rehearsals regularly it is indeed nonstop workout for Spears as admitted by her trainer Steven Boggs.

Movie star Liam Neeson urges parents to let their children travel
Movie star Liam Neeson has made an appeal to parents of young children to let their children travel across the globe as that will only make them world balanced adults. The star has already made up his mind that he will allow his two sons go and travel wherever they wish once they have turned eighteen years of age.
He says, “My wife and I both plan, when our kids turn 18, to show them the door and tell them there’s a big wide world out there, go and see some of it. I’ll put my foot in my mouth and say that American parents are too over-protective. If kids traveled a little bit more and saw a little bit more of the world, there’d be a lot more tolerance of other cultures, nations and countries.”
Keep American dollars in America! I would never send my 18 year-old off to Europe unless (s)he were totally supervised. However, I still think that due to the USA’s terrible economic problems we should be spending our money (what there is of it) at home. America is so diverse and it is amazing as one travels from state to state how its cultural features change.

Financial turmoil having its affects on Steven Spielberg
The bloodbath that has become a feature of Wall Street in recent months has affected many Hollywood celebrities including Steven Spielberg who is amongst the best directors Hollywood has.A charity supported by Steven Spielberg has lost money in the Bernard Madoff scam and not Steven has had to dig deep into his bank accounts to keep his DreamWorks SKG projects going. Now a company from India named Reliance Big Entertainment, a subsidiary company of Anil Ambani has agreed to match up to $550 million in loans raised by JPMorgan Chase & Co. to make movies over a seven-year term.
People in the US as in other parts of the world are really facing tough financial times and if millionaires are facing a credit crunch its understood that less fortunate people are facing even greater troubled times. Steven Spielberg is amongst the greatest movie makers of all time from E.T. to the latest Indiana Jones movie.
I think he will get his money back, if the movie is as good as the rest. What a great movie -maker he is…wish I had his talent, experience and skills to thrill people with the work. good luck…

Ryan Gosling is a DJ
Ryan Gosling was seen checking out of Bardot lounge after his weekly spot at being the guest DJ on Monday. A couple of celebrities were at the lounge to cheer Ryan on, including Brittany Snow, Kelli Garner and Macy Gray. The 28-year old Canadian actor and musician wore the same ‘Thrasher’ shirt that he was seen wearing back in November. If you don’t know what I’ trying to get at, that shirt has a very big hole on the back of it. Of course, you can’t see it this time because he’s wearing a hoodie and jacket over it. Does he not have money to buy new clothes?

Lily Allen Can’t Keep Men
As I mentioned just this month, 23-year old Lily Allen was dating 45-year old multi-millionaire art gallery owner Jay Jopling. The couple was even spotted vacationing together in the Caribbean during the holidays acting all happy and in love. Just like Lily can’t keep her music career on top, it seems that she can’t keep her men either. Reports claim that the two are no longer together. According to the British media Lily and Jay have split and called it quits after less than a month of being together. A source close to Lily has said “It’s all over – it was basically just a holiday romance. Lily is going away for a year on tour, so it’s unlikely she will have much time for a relationship. They have had a lot of fun together, but Lily has said it’s finished.” -

The talk-show host Oprah Winfrey has brought much praise to Kate Winslet’s gifts from Mother Nature in one of her recent shows. She said: “I love the fact that you have real breasts, because in all the breast scenes, your breasts do what real breasts do. There’s that wonderful thing, you know, if you are a woman, you’re lying on your back, your breasts they part, but if you look at a woman who hasn’t got real breasts, their breasts are sticking straight up. That’s how you know. God bless your real breasts!” Finally, the secret has been revealed! How to tell the difference… I’ll be on the lookout for Kate Winslet’s next performance where I can spot the detail and see it for myself. So this is the kind of stuff that’s discussed on Oprah… I’m glad I never even had the curiosity of watching her show. -
Amy Winehouse at it again
The troubled singer has reportedly been stealing booze from the hotel she’s staying at in St. Lucia after she has been denied alcohol from the whole staff. Sources and guests said the following: “We keep catching her crawling past bars or hiding behind chairs. She grabs guests’ drinks and runs off like a squirrel with a nut.”, “One minute she is very pleasant saying, ‘Alright darling’ and talking to people and having photos taken. Then next she is throwing things and swearing her head off.”, She’s like a child craving attention. It’s embarrassing.” Considering this is Amy Winehouse we’re talking about here, I can’t say I’m that surprised. I mean, no more drugs, you have to get away with something. And that “with a nut” bit makes me imagine Amy running off holding hands with a nut-job, singing anthems of deluded happiness. -
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie jumping over hedges
The couple had to do such daring feats in order to get to a VIP party to which they were invited. A source had this to say: “The party’s host motioned for Brad and Angelina to cut through some hedges to get to the VIP. Brad was game but Angelina looked a little tentative – she was after all, wearing heels and a nice dress!” The source also added: “Brad had his beer in one hand, and Angelina’s hand in his other and said, ‘C’mon babe – you can do this!’” Such Amazonian adventures, looks like starring in all those action movies really rubbed off on them. I’m sure their kids, all of them, will grow up to be mighty warriors and rule the world with an iron fist.
