Seniors Love Country Music

Country musicians know how to take care of each other even as they grow older. After more than a decade of planning and budgeting, the Nashville music industry is set to build a $95 million senior living community which will be targeted to retirees from the music industry. As of right now, it’s set to open in 2013 in Franklin, Tennessee and will be called The Crescendo at Westhaven. The complex will featured apartments ranging from $300,000 to $650,000 and will even include financial assistance for those who are eligible. Country singer Martina McBride is supporting the project saying “It’s just very unique, and I think it really will fit the needs of so many people who have been involved in the music industry in such a special way.” Maybe she’ll be one of the first to occupy the place.Category: CMT Music Awards, Music | Tags:
