We all know that good things must come to an end.
And, like so many others before her, Amy Poehler is leaving Saturday Night Live for better opportunities.
Poehler says she’ll be leaving SNL this season, just after the November election, to give birth to her first baby.
Amy jokes in a recent interview that, “It’s gonna be really hard — Boyz II Men hard — to say goodbye to yesterday. SNL was dangerous, late-night, last-minute and star-studded, but like any good drug, you need to know when to put it down.”
But will she return after she gives birth and gets off maternity leave?
The answer is No.
Instead, Amy will be starring in her own series on NBC, a spinoff of The Office.
SNL better do some new casting soon.
With Tina Fey gone and Amy leaving, there needs to be some new star on the show!
I wish Amy all the success in her new venture.

We all know that Tina Fey bears so much resemblance to Sarah Palin. In fact, Tina Fey’s impression of the Republican vice presidential candidate was so hilariously spot-on that the season premiere of SNL debuted to an opening high.
The skit has even experienced viral success on the internet and, as we all know, that’s the best proof to know you’ve made it big!
Naturally, as the country’s biggest overnight celebrity since her selection as John McCain’s running mate not too long ago, Palin, will become a recurring character on SNL, which has always be conscious of political current events.
But will Tina Fey encore her SNL performance with a Sarah Palin reprise?
SNL spokesman Marc Liepis says they are taking it “day by day,” basis. Though he has to admit that it will be unlikely, as it will affect Tina Fey’s schedule on the comedy 30 Rock.
Noooooooo!!!!! I want her back! BRING HER BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACK!
