Contrary to the report by the New York Post that claimed that Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake would be teaming up to record a duet for her new album, Access Hollywood claims that no duet is “scheduled” to take place between Britney and JT. Justin’s rep claims that Justin “is not scheduled to be in the recording studio with Britney.”
The two pop stars last public appearance together was when they shared the stage with Aerosmith, Nelly and Mary J. Blige at the 2001 Superbowl.
To the generation who grew up in the 90’s, this piece of news is definitely a letdown. However, we must keep our hopes up.

Although it still doesn’t confirm anything, you can pretty much assume what the rep is and isn’t saying. Saying something “is not scheduled” means, in rep lingo, that they are waiting for the artist to decide on the project.

She recently went to West Hollywood Club where she met three of her ex friends with whom she has had sex in the past. Her live-in friend Samantha Ronson was DJing at the club, where she came across her ex Harry Morton and chatted with him for a few minutes. Before the night was over, she met another ex friend Calum Best followed by her former girlfriend Courtenay Semel. But she seemed undisturbed.
Her rep said, “It wasn’t awkward for her to be with all of her axes,” but one of the witnesses reported, “That was definitely enough drama for Lindsay.”
Rihanna reportedly fired her business manager after discovering she only has $20,000 left in her bank account.
Patricia Williams claims she was recently “let go” after Rihanna accused her of stealing after discovering her pop fortune has all but disappeared. Williams said: “It’s not my fault that she only has $20,000 to her name. I have worked for many high-profile actors, musicians and multi-million dollar corporations. Why would I steal from Rihanna? I showed her all the paperwork and tried to explain to her the circumstances but she wouldn’t listen. She called me all sorts of horrible names and stormed off. I now feel compelled to share with the world the background story as I will not allow my name to be slandered.”
Rihanna’s recent album ‘Good Girl Gone Bad’ has sold an estimated five million copies worldwide and she has toured extensively across the US and Europe this year. Williams claims the 20-year-old singer’s record label Def Jam and her manger Marc Jordan are to blame for her financial problems.
She is quoted as saying: “Def Jam doesn’t fund Rihanna properly, so Marc uses the money Rihanna makes from third-party endorsements and from tours to fund her album and music videos. I don’t want to disrespect Marc’s name. He is a fantastic manager and genuinely believes in Rihanna. But he uses her money to fund her future projects because he believes he can break her in the world-market. Her album sales are not nearly as close to her single sales and he knows that if she is only known as a ’singles artist’ she will only be as good as her last hit. Unfortunately, he didn’t inform his client and I’m receiving the brunt of it.”

For only the second time in almost a month, Wino ventured out of her London home and judging by the looks of her, I don’t want to know just what she’s been up to. The talented by greatly troubled singer made a rare public outing last week to attend a fundraiser in Camden for The Hawley Arms, her fave pub, which burned down several months back. I don’t think that having herself look like this and going out to party is right. It’s just not entertaining anymore. What will it take for her to finally get some help and take it seriously?
Uma Thurman has resurfaced on the front cover of Instyle’s fall fashion issue. The “Kill Bill” star Uma Thurman has also hinted she would like to expand her family and have children with her fiancé, Swiss businessman Arpad Busson. She said, “I can safely say I don’t know. If it’s meant to happen, it will. I love and adore being a mother.”
She is already a mother of two children with Ethan Hawke. She also said, “(My children) are the greatest gift I’ve ever been given.”
Answering the question about what she looks in a man, she said. “Confidence, intelligence and goodness. There’s nothing sexier than that combination.”

The always steamy Eric Dane, who plays Dr. Mark Sloan in ABC’s hit TV show, hinted that Dr. Mark Sloan might finally meet his romantic match this year. He tells E!:
“I think he’s going to [find real love] this season. I don’t know how long that’s going to last. The nature of the show is people don’t stay together very long. We always end up back together, and then we break up again, then we get back together again — but I think this year he’s going to find somebody.”

Britney Spears is definitely on the right track these days because she’s admitted that she actually likes to work now. In her interview with OK! Magazine, she says that she has written a song about her sons, Jayden James and Sean Preston, called ‘My Baby’ which will be released on her new album. Yes, the album really is taking form. Not only does she like to work on her music but she also likes to do some housework. When asked if she cooks and cleans, she said “I do. Usually the maid and I will cook together. [The boys] love my spaghetti… I get mad if the maid does all the housework. If she takes it all into her own hands, well, what’s for me to do? I’m a cleaning fanatic. Dusting is my favorite, and Windex-ing.”
Laurence Fishburne is about to find out if he has the guts to play his new role on the hit TV show CSI: Crime Scene Investigation.
Just like the rest of the cast, he’ll be given a tour of the morgue and will sit in on an autopsy. Fishburne, will appear on the series on its 9th episode as a replacement for the show’s star Gil Grissom, played by William Petersen.
As of the moment his CSI character is still being developed and doesn’t even have a name. For now, his role is known as the “The Professor”. His introduction will lead into Petersen’s leave as they investigate a case in episodes nine and 10.

Gwyneth Paltrow has sparked outrage after posing for an advert wearing fur.
The ‘Iron Man’ actress – who has two children, Apple, four, and two-year-old Moses with vegetarian singer husband Chris Martin – has angered animal rights groups by posing in animal skin as the face of the autumn collection of fur-lined boots and bags from Italian designers Tod’s.
A spokesperson for PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) has revealed the group has sent the actress letters and videos ’showing how people suffer for fur’ but are yet to receive a response from Gwyneth.
The spokesperson added: “Gwyneth Paltrow won’t be the apple of her daughter’s eye if she continues to flaunt fur. It’s a terrible example to set for a young child, promoting an industry that electrocutes animals, snaps their necks and skins them alive.”
Vegetarian charity Viva! have also attacked the actress - who is renowned for her green lifestyle and previously stuck to a vegan macrobiotic diet - branding her ’stupid’.
A spokesperson said: ‘There is nothing feminine about inserting an electrode into the anus of a terrified and struggling fox and then electrocuting it. Ms. Paltrow is an actress - and seemingly a particularly stupid one at that.”
In addition to angering the groups, some of Gwyneth’s closest friends are reportedly ‘furious’ with her, including vegan musician Moby and fashion designer Stella McCartney, who refuses to use fur in her collections.

The director’s film ‘RocknRolla’ was due to be distributed by Warner Bros. in America but the company is reportedly worried it will not be popular with US audiences and are unsure whether to go ahead with a wide-scale release.
Warner Bros. president Alan Horn revealed: “It’s a well-made picture but while it’s funny in spots, it’s very English. I don’t think it’s broadly commercial.”
‘RocknRolla’ is about London gangsters who are battling for a slice of a property scam, and was due to be released in October. Guy, 39, is now attempting to find another distributor.
Everybody already knows that Jay-Z and Beyonce got married already which is why I’m still left wondering just why they still refuse to admit it. In a recent interview with Vibe, Jay-Z says “I think it’s really a part of your life that you gotta keep to yourself. You have to have something sacred to you and the people around you.” He’s not saying he’s not married but he still hasn’t confirmed that he is married. Beyonce was spotted wearing what looked like a wedding ring recently but we may never know. At least not until one of them speaks out.
Scarlett Johansson is in no rush to wed Ryan Reynolds. The ‘Vicky Cristina Barcelona’ actress, who announced her engagement to the Canadian star in May, insists she is happy being ‘young and engaged’ for now.
She told US TV talk show host Jay Leno: “We’re just enjoying our time. We are just recently - very recently - engaged. So we are just taking it easy. And there is no big plan yet. I mean, I’m 23. There is no reason to rush into it. Everything feels very natural and relaxed.”
Last week, Scarlett revealed she was considering paying homage to Ryan’s home country by wearing a beaver crown when they tie the knot. Madonna is desperate to adopt a second child from Malawi.
The ‘Give It 2 Me’ singer wants to give a home to two-year-old girl Mercy James - whose mother died in childbirth and lives in an orphanage - but the child’s family have said they are “not interested” in the proposition.
Madonna, 49, tried to push the adoption through last year, but Mercy’s uncle John Nglande blocked it. The star reportedly renewed attempts to adopt the toddler in May by sending aides to speak to her family, but they are only prepared to go ahead with the plan if Mercy is returned to them when she is six years old.
Mercy’s grandmother Anaphiri is quoted as saying: “When Mercy is no longer a baby we want her back. I do not want the money they said they’d give me.”
Madonna’s adoption of two-year old Malawian David Banda - a process she began in 2006 - was finalised earlier this year. It was claimed the singer had received special treatment as laws which ban non-residents from adopting children in the country were ignored.
She was widely criticised when it was discovered that while David’s mother had died, his father was still alive and had been visiting him in his orphanage.
It was confirmed yesterday that Asienti Mwale, the women who raised David in Malawi, died on Sunday night of pneumonia.
American Idol executive producer Nigel Lythgoe is off the show. The man who’s produced the show for seven seasons has reportedly taken himself off the program and will not return. No replacement has been named yet. It’s being said that Lythgoe felt that it was time for someone else to take charge. Sources say though that he’s said privately that he’s just not passionate about it anymore. However, that’s not stopping him from working on some kind of joint venture with the creator of American Idol Simon Fuller. Lythgoe apparently also wants to spend his time on ‘So You Think You Can Dance’.

Junkie Blake, 26, will be moved to a country jail this weekend after cracking up behind bars in North London’s Pentonville nick.
Worried Amy, 24, wants to rent a flat near the Suffolk town so she can visit him more often during the last 3 months of his 27-month sentence for GBH.
Blake recently tore down pictures of Amy from his cell walls. And warders feared he might top himself after he burst into floods of tears and screamed: “Why me?”
He has been having counselling from Samaritans but begged staff to move him from Pentonville because he felt suicidal.
Blake is now being moved to one of three category-C prisons in Suffolk — Edmunds Hill near Bury St Edmunds, Blundeston near Newmarket or High Point in Lowestoft.
A source said: “Prison staff are genuinely worried for Blake and Amy’s management are happy because they feel she needs to move out of town.”

Fergie plays Saraghina and will perform a song with Daniel Day Lewis. Of the role, the singer says “She’s basically a prostitute on the beach. She introduces him to the world of sexuality. It’s a very strong song. I’m just thrilled I get to play a character.” Apart from her acting gig, Fergie is reportedly back in the studio working on a new album with the Black Eyed Peas. Of the album, she says “It’s a new sound. We’re going into the future. We’re not doing the same old thing. We’re not trying to copy what’s out there on the radio.”
