Nobu Malibu was the site of a 2 hour dinner date for Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner and Matt Damon and very pregnant wife Luciana Barroso.

They were celebrating Jen and Ben’s upcoming third wedding anniversary. Someone at the restaurant said, “Ben and Matt were entertaining the girls with stories, and they were all laughing a lot.”

It’s expected to drop out on August 26. I wonder if she’ll have a career just like her older sister’s.

Mariah Carey’s marriage won’t last more than six months, according to friends. The 38-year-old singer, who wed rapper Nick Cannon in April, is so demanding her new husband won’t be able to cope with her diva-like behaviour.

One pal close to Mariah revealed 27-year-old Nick has become a source of ridicule for her friends and associates.

The source said: “I give the marriage six months, tops. I can’t see it lasting. Nick does whatever Mariah wants him to - he’s like her puppy. It seems like he spends more time in the stores with Mariah’s credit card than he does with Mariah herself. Mariah’s assistants and friends call him ‘Whipped Nick’ behind his back. They have little respect for him because he won’t stand up for himself.”

However, a friend of Nick’s has vehemently denied the relationship is already in trouble, insisting Nick and Mariah are perfect for each other. The pal said: “Mariah needs someone to dote on her.”

Mariah and Nick tied the knot in a secret ceremony in the Caribbean in April, after dating for just one month. Mariah was previously married to record company boss Tommy Mottola for five years.

He may be letting Amy Winehouse sing at his birthday bash, but Nelson Mandela says he won’t have Naomi Campbell at his party.

Apparently she donned a baseball cap with the number 46664 on it. If that doesn’t mean anything to you, that’s the number of the jail cell that Mandela spent 27 years in. Yeah, I’m guessing he didn’t take too kindly to that.

So, I guess she’ll have to watch reruns of the party on TV because she won’t have anyone to fly her there anyway. Ha!

Apart from having an irregular heartbeat, the still-hospitalized Amy Winehouse is also suffering from a chest infection. Doctors say that, in addition to her severe drug abuse, her abnormal heartbeat can also be attributed to her years of battling an eating disorder. A source told UK’s The Sun “Amy is in a bad way. Doctors are still struggling to control her heartbeat but the chest condition has been really worrying them.” Another source says “Things sound really bad, but at least now they have found something specific it will be easier to keep her in hospital and free from drugs.” Wino is still undergoing tests and doctors will soon decide whether she can keep her commitments for later this month including Nelson Mandela’s birthday celebration. Her rep says “She would really love to do the show – she always wants to do these things. But she will listen to her doctors.” That hasn’t stopped her from doing crazy stuff before.

Wow, what a birthday surprise. While performing to a crowd at Chicago Soldier Field on Saturday night, Keith Urban told fans that Nicole had celebrated a birthday the evening before.

He went on, “So it would be nice to have 50,000 people sing ‘Happy Birthday’ to her.” He then brought her onstage to enjoy her impromptu serenade.

The couple seemed very happy. Nicole is due with their first child any day now.

Robbie Williams has invited Lily Allen to hunt UFOs with him. The ‘Angels’ singer has reportedly told friends he ’sees a lot of himself’ in Lily and wants to spend an evening with her when she is in Los Angeles, where he lives.

Robbie hopes to take the 23-year-old singer – who has recently been criticised for her drunken antics – to his favourite restaurant STK before heading for a night of star gazing for spaceships.

A friend of Robbie, 34, said: “Robbie loves Los Angeles but the one thing he does miss is the British sense of humours and impudence, so Lily’s attitude appeals to him. He thought it would be nice to meet up while she’s recording her album in town and got his people to call Lily’s people to invite her for dinner at his favourite restaurant. Rob likes to be a big brother figure to celebrities who seem to find themselves in the same position he has been – young and vulnerable and in the glare of the media. And he feels that taking an interest in UFOs and the unknown is a good way of putting things in perspective, hence asking Lily to join him.”

Earlier this week, it was revealed Robbie has taken up camping in the hope of seeing an alien. He has previously claimed to have been visited by extra-terrestrials on more than one occasion.

Maddie Briann was born at Mississippi Southwest Regional Medical Center in McComb, Mississippi. She arrived via C-section at 9:30 AM on July 19th. She weighed in at 6 pounds, 10 ounces.

Seems mom and baby are doing fine. We should all say a special prayer for the poor child who was introduced to the Spears family.

There’s more American Idol drama around even after the show is out for the season. A musicians union has filed a federal lawsuit against the producers of the show claiming that musicians were underpaid because the show’s live music was re-recorded for reruns. The lawsuit claims that the contract for the musicians working for the show says that they should be paid royalties for the rebroadcasts. The producers are required to pay 75% to musicians who appear in the original show and rehearsals as well as 10% of that pay to a union pension fund with decreasing percentages for each rebroadcast but it has not been done. The show is making tons of money, why are they trying to be cheap?

Heidi Klum wants more children with true gentleman Seal. The former Victoria’s Secret supermodel – who has two children, two-year-old Henry and one-year-old Johan, with husband Seal and a four-year-old daughter Leni from a previous relationship – has no intention of finishing her family.

She said: “So many people say, ‘I am so done.’ That hasn’t come out of my mouth, and it hasn’t come out of Seal’s mouth, either. I feel like we still have one coming.”

Heidi recently revealed she is addicted to having children. She said: “I do miss being pregnant. Children are very addictive. Once they start growing up, you miss when they were little.”

The 34-year-old beauty also said she considers Seal to be Leni’s real father, even though Formula One team boss Flavio Briatore is her biological father. She added: “Seal is Leni’s father. Seal and I feel very lucky that we found each other. He’s my best friend. He would never go in through a door first. He always opens the door for me and steps back so I walk through.”

Lynne Spears’ memoir is set to be released later this year.

‘Through the Storm: A Real Story of Fame and Family in a Tabloid World’ - which will tell how Lynne raised her famous daughters Britney and Jamie Lynn - was put on hold after news emerged of 17-year-old actress Jamie Lynn’s pregnancy, but the publisher has now confirmed it will be available from September.

A spokesman for Thomas Nelson publisher said: “When Jamie Lynn got pregnant, it was put on hold. Lynne never stopped working on it because she wants to express her love for her children and tell their stories through a mother’s eyes.”

The book will document the trials and tribulations Lynne has been through during her 26 years of motherhood. It is expected to feature Britney’s phenomenal rise to pop superstardom and her recent public meltdown, as well as Jamie Lynn’s success on children’s TV show ‘Zoey 101′.

The spokesman added: “This will not be a parenting book. It’s her story of what it was like being a mom and raising two very famous people. It’s a memoir.”

Sources say Naomi Campbell has undergone some sort of surgery to enable her to have a baby. She isn’t dishing out any details but says that now she can become a mommy.

Naomi says, “Now I can have a child when I would like one. I’m even willing to have one without a father. I know that I am ready. I know that with a baby I would change. I’d calm down. With a child you cannot accept compromises. You have to give your full self.”

Jennifer Lopez is set to design her own range of exercise clothing.

The ‘Do It Well’ singer - who gave birth to twins Max and Emme in February - wants to create a line of affordable clothes that women can feel comfortable in while working out.

A friend of the star - who already has three other brands in her fashion empire J.Lo, Sweetface and JustSweet - said: “She has some street gear already in her lines, but she wants something exclusively for sneakers, yoga pants and dance gear. She wants it to look great in the gym and in the street, and to be affordable and functional.”

Following the birth of her twins, Jennifer splashed out $50,000 on a home gym to help her lose her baby weight after gaining almost 50lbs during her pregnancy.

A source said: “To motivate her, she’s splurged out on a $50,000 home gym for her New York mansion. She’s also consulted trainers, nutritionists and doctors, looking for the safest way to drop the weight in record time.”

Jennifer, 38, is also planning to start using food delivery programme Fresh Mommy, an all-natural food company which provides expectant or new mothers with healthy meals.

Amy Winehouse is reportedly paying $2,000 per week to keep husband Blake Fielder-Civil safe in prison. The ‘Rehab’ singer’s money pays five inmates to protect her husband from other prisoners, who have targeted him because of Amy’s fame.

She is also said to be shelling out a further $2,000 to fund his drug habit while he is in remand in London’s Pentonville Prison awaiting trial for grievous bodily harm (GBH) and conspiracy to pervert the course of justice.

A source said: “Blake has people who look after him, and he gets crack and heroin. Amy pays for it from outside.”

Madonna’s 11-year old daughter, Lourdes Leon, brought along a few of her friends as she cheered on her favorite pop rocker, Avril Lavigne, at a concert held at the O2 Arena in London on Wednesday. And I thought her admiration for Britney Spears back in the day was scary. The former ‘Friends’ actress, who already has a heart etching on her stomach, is keen to add a second heart in the same place and wants the ‘Gravity’ singer to have the same. However, John is unsure about the design and would prefer them both to get a ‘J’ inked on their bodies instead.

A source said: ‘John had the idea that they should both have a ‘J’ tattooed in a secret place as that is both their first initial. Jennifer is really keen on the idea but is going to wait a few months. He said she’s in great shape and her skin is like a baby’s bottom.”

While Celine Dion is off continuing her ‘Taking Chances’ World Tour, the 40-year old singer has been getting a lot of criticism for her 9,800-square foot estate that consumed over 6.5 million gallons of water last year. The water usage is 100 times as much as the average resident and she hasn’t even moved in yet! Sierra Club’s Drew Martin spoke on the matter saying “People are pretty much permitted to use as much water as they want. [The district] has allowed people to over-water… The state’s basically going to run out of water because we do not restrict what people use in the first place.”

Kanye West now has the control over his late mother’s money and can spend it in anyway he sees fit. An LA court judge granted a petition to make the rapper and Shawn Gee, Kanye’s financial adviser, as co-executors of Donda’s estate this past week. That means that they now control the late woman’s money which turns out, is less than $250,000. Donda died without a will. I think Kanye should just donate the money to research or for helping move laws to prevent the same events that happened to his mother. No one wants to hear another incident like Donda’s which could have obviously been prevented.
