Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie ‘are married’

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are a surprisingly private couple.

First she gets pregnant and they stay tight-lipped, now the Hollywood couple were reported to have tied the knot in secret.

US magazine Star had believed Brangelina wed over the weekend in a ceremony held in New Orleans.

However, their spokesperson claimed to have ‘no idea’ about the news when questioned.

Curiouser and curiouser…

Meanwhile, another US outfit, People, say that the couple are NOT married and, in fact, are not even in New Orleans at the moment – they say the couple are in Texas while Brad films a new movie.

Star magazine have since retracted their report, releasing a statement saying: “After further investigation, the sources are not standing by their story.”

One thing’s for sure though, Angelina’s belly is getting bigger and I’m sure it’s not because she’s been scoffing deep fried Mars bars…

Natalie Portman Says Vote

The internet is Natalie Portman’s medium for encouraging people to vote. Her new public service announcement takes about 30 seconds, and she says, “Voting’s how our democracy works.”

The spot does not affiliate her with any side of the races. Instead, she simply talks about how important it is to take part in the democratic process. Natalie says, “To vote is to express yourself.”

Life After American Idol

It seems that life after American Idol can be cold – ice cream cold that it. Season 6 castoffs Melinda Doolittle and Chris Richardson are realizing that now as they two singers with barely there music careers are making ends meet by schilling ice cream as part of a Dreyer’s ice cream national promo tour at Vons, Stop & Shot and Winn-Dixie. It may not be as glamorous but there is life after Idol. The likes of Kristy Lee Cook and Ramiele Malubay can look forward to a Safeway, or a local balloon festival, or an outlet mall, or a housing development, maybe even a bingo waiting for them when they get voted off.

Divorce for Robin Williams and Wife

It’s been 19 long years of marriage, but Marsha Garces Williams says she has had enough of husband Robin Williams. The two married back in April 1989.

The couple has two children – Zelda, 18, and Cody, 16. Marsha is asking for joint custody of Cody, but wants him to live with her while Robin gets visitation. She is also asking for attorney’s fees and spousal support.

Jonas Brothers Love Dancing

Little girls, back up! Judge Bruno Tonioli of Dancing with the Stars might love the Jonas Brothers even more than you.

The brotherly trio rocked out the show Tuesday night. Joe Jonas said, “They said it was the loudest audience they ever had. They had to tell people to calm down, which was cool.”

This was the boys’ first trip to the ballroom, but they said they are fans of the show. Kevin says, “I can see Dancing with the Stars in our future!”

Amy Winehouse goes Dutch in drugs haven

Amy Winehouse has been offered more than $700,000 to perform in “the weirdest club in the world”.

That’s perfect for Amy – and it’s set in the drug-soaked heart of Rotterdam, too.

Tycoon Aryan Tieleman has confirmed to the Dutch press that the troubled star is close to signing the deal and performing at the opening night of his new Rotterdam nightclub, Watt. He said: “It is as good as certain.”

And when the Dutch say this place is weird, they’re not joking.

The club, which will open in September, will function using human power. A club source said: “The energy will come from urine and sweat from the visitors, and toilets will be flushed by rainwater.”

That sounds more like a festival than a nightclub to me.

The club worker added: “The club is set in the heart of the biggest drugs circuit in Holland. It is so out there that it might even shock Amy

Federline gets caked … in cake

I’ve heard of having your cake and eating it, but smearing on your face is a new one to me. I guess that’s what happens when you have to say goodbye to your twenties.

Britney’s ex-husband Kevin Federline took a night off from looking after their kids to celebrate hitting the big 3-0 this weekend.

The party took place at Pure nightclub in Las Vegas, the same venue that hosted Paris Hilton’s birthday last month, and Kev made sure it was one to remember.

Swigging Jack Daniels, he partied all night to some of his favourite tunes, and was presented with a cake at midnight – which pals decided to smear all over his face.

As well as friends and family, K-Fed was joined by his Lawyer Mark Vincent Kaplan – who is apparently fast becoming a celebrity in his own right.

At one point Kev grabbed a microphone and told the crowd: “I lost my voice at the craps tables and I lost all my money.” Although according to reports, lucky Kevin may have been paid as much as $160,500 in appearance fees to show up at his own birthday party.

So, every cloud…

Salomon Cries Fraud against Pamela Anderson

Pamela Anderson and Rick Salomon were married back in October. They separated in December after just 2 months.

Pam filed papers to have the marriage annulled. She marked “fraud” as the reason. Now, Rick decided to do the same thing.

No word yet on what the “fraud” is. Maybe Pammy said her boobs were real.

Lindsay Lohan Denies Sex Video

In a not so unexpected turn of events, yet another celebrity sex tape has emerged online. The victim this time? Lindsay Lohan.

The video supposedly shows Lindsay performing oral sex on her ex-boyfriend Calum Best. The video was allegedly taken with Best’s cell phone.

Lindsay is denying that it is her in the video. A friend says, “But privately, nobody believes her. It is her.”

This is not the first time Best has been “caught on tape”. He allegedly filmed a hooker pleasuring himself last May.

Amy Winehouse Denial

After pictures of Amy Winehouse came out with her arm all cut up and bruised, speculations have run rampant that she’s back to self-harming. But according to the British pop wreck’s publicist, all the blame for the cuts is on Wino’s cat. Oh come on! There’s no way that those are from an angry feline. People aren’t stupid. But then again… Chris Goodman, Amy’s publicist from the UK’s Outside Organisation said that the whole cat comment was just another newspaper report and not from him. He says that all he gave the paper was a “no comment”. Darned tabloids! You can never trust them.

It seems like Carmen Electra has gotten permanently whipped on her new man, Korn guitarist Rob Patterson that she chose to permanently show it. The former amusement park dancer turned actress and twice married and divorced is now sporting a new ‘R’ oo as a romantic gesture to her newest flavour. Tattoos are forever but relationships are not. Her ex-husband Dave Navarro should know as he had Carmen’s initials tattooed on his chest during their time together. Oh well, if things don’t work out, she can always add to the tattoo – like have it say ‘No to R’ or something like that.

Mariah Carey is on the cover of the new issue of Parade magazine which is coming out on Sunday. In the accompanying interview, the 38-year old curvaceous singer talks about her struggle with fame, being called a diva and reconciling with her father. Here’s a quote from her “My self-esteem has never been topping the charts. You don’t know who is here for the glamour, for the gossip factor. You really just want to know that somebody loves you for you. That’s a difficult thing when, you know… (pauses) Sometimes you just do really feel like an ATM machine with a wig on it.”

American Idol Kicks Butt

American Idol contestant Kristy Lee Cook may look like the sweet and sexy country gal next door but be careful. The Oregon native knows how to force a man into submission – between her legs. And no, that’s not what I meant. The Daily Courier got hold of the barely alive Idol golden girl kicking some guy’s butt. Her martial arts instructor says that she’s “feisty and cocky in the ring”. The other Idol wannabes better watch out then – hell hath no fury like a kickboxing redneck woman booted off of the show. Could you just imagine the songs that could be written for her if she was in the position of David Archuleta or David Hernandez?

Lily Allen moves in with a new man

Lily Allen is getting over her split from Chemical Brothers DJ Ed Simons; by dating another musician.

The Smile singer, who also dated music talent scout Seb Chew before Ed, has been living with producer Robertson Furze for a month.

Pals say Robbie, as pals know him, offered the star a shoulder to cry on after she had a miscarriage and her relationship hit the rocks. At the same time her BBC Three show Lily Allen and Friends was being panned by critics.

A source said: “Lily has been through a tough time this year. She split from Ed only weeks after they lost their baby and she has been feeling incredibly down about it. Her TV show has been struggling too.

“She has known Robbie for years and he was there when things went wrong with Ed. She moved in with him a few weeks ago and they have been sharing a bed. It started off innocently but they are doing more than just cuddling now.”

The couple have been spotted laughing together several times recently. They went out to dinner last night and were pictured giggling arm-in-arm at the weekend on the way to breakfast in a cafe near to their North London pad.

The source added: “Robbie and his pals have been doing everything they can to cheer Lil up. It has worked — she is back on great form.”

Britney Spears to pay K-Fed’s legal bills

Britney Spears has been told to pay $400,000 of ex-husband Kevin Federline’s legal bills in their child custody battle. The pop star’s lawyer said Federline should pay; claiming his attorney had hiked his fees.

She told how he recently tipped a waitress $2,000 on a $360 bill.

But a judge at a Los Angeles Court said Britney, 26, should pay as her actions caused most of the legal wrangles. He also favoured Federline, 29, for taking responsibility for kids Preston, two, and Jayden, one.

Madonna’s marriage ‘hangs by a thread’

Pop queen Madonna and husband Guy Ritchie have been living separate lives as their marriage hits the rocks, pals revealed yesterday. The troubled couple have even divided their homes into his and hers quarters – so they avoid each other, it was claimed.

They have shocked friends by spending months behaving as flatmates “who pass in the night” rather than husband and wife. Sources say the pair have both privately confessed that they do not think their seven-year marriage will survive much longer.

In January film director Guy, 39, furnished a wing of their new home in London’s Marylebone for his private use while Madonna, 49, took another quarter for herself.

A close pal said yesterday the couple tried to “reclaim the magic” with a romantic dinner – but immediately went back to living “like brother and sister”.

The pal said: “The marriage is hanging by a thread. No one doubts they adore their three kids – but the children seem to be the only reason they are living this strange loveless existence.”

Rumours about the couple’s problems have intensified in recent weeks.

It was claimed last night Madonna felt “badly let down” that Guy had not supported her at several high-profile public appearances. The source said: “There were rows after Guy didn’t turn up at Madonna’s Raising Malawi fundraiser at the UN HQ in New York last month. The event was incredibly important to her. Guy also wasn’t present at his wife’s induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame dinner last week.”

Britney Spears removes tattoo

Britney Spears has had her Kabbalah tattoo removed.

The ‘Toxic’ star had a Hebrew tattoo on the back of her neck bearing one of the 72 words for ‘God’ found in the texts of Kabbalah, a mystical off-shoot of Judaism. However, when the 26-year-old singer was spotted out shopping in Los Angeles earlier this week, it was clear she has had the tattoo removed.

This isn’t the only inking on Britney’s body. She also has pink dice on her forearm, a Japanese kanji symbol which means ’strange’, a fairy on the small of her back, a butterfly and vine chain on her right foot, a star on her hand and a pair of lips on her wrist.

Meanwhile, Britney’s paparazzo beau Adnan Ghalib – who was recently turned away from Britney’s Los Angeles house – has begged fans to keep supporting the troubled ‘Gimme More’ singer.

He said: “In a situation like that, you’re not ever going to contain it. It is what it is. Just keep praying. That’s what I say.”

Paris Wants a New Best Friend

Nicole Richie just isn’t cutting anymore. After all, she’s too wrapped up in taking care of her new baby girl. She can’t party with Paris Hilton anymore.

So, what’s a poor rich girl to do? Paris is headed back onto our television screens in a new show. MTV will be the home of her new show called, appropriately, Paris Hilton’s My New BFF. It will feature twenty potential “friends” who live in a house with Paris and complete various tests and tasks to win her friendship.

Paris is excited about the show, shallow as it may seem. She says, “I’m looking for a new BFF that is loyal, honest, and fun. I’m not worried about anyone that doesn’t have good intentions, as I’m a very good judge of character.”

Fergie Comes Clean on Marie Claire

Fergie opens up about her battles with drug addiction and how it inspired her to help people with HIV in the April 2008 issue of Marie Claire. She talked about her gritty history, speaking of her childhood career and how it crystal meth entered her life. She then talks about the changes in her behavior because of her drug dependency and her subsequent downward spiral. Looking at where she is right now, you’d never know that all of that went on in her life. She’s really come a long way and she’s helping others with all her success. Kudos to you Fergie!

Yes, she auctioned herself off on Ebay. Well, not herself exactly, but Scarlett Johansson did auction off a date with herself for charity.

The lucky winner spent a cool $40,100 for a night out with the celeb. The money will go to Oxfam America. The winner will get a date with her to the August premier of her upcoming movie He’s Just Not That Into You.
