Jessica Simpson Turns Down Role
It doesn’t seem like anyone is taking Jessica Simpson seriously these days. Her father was speaking on Thursday at the ABC Television Critics Association party. He was saying how she gets offered quirky roles all the time since the success of “Newlyweds”. The most recent role she was offered was to play a porn star. The movie producers assured her that it would garner an Oscar award nomination. Jessica’s father Joe Simpson laughed this off saying that they would rather buy themselves a little Oscar look-a-like. It’s strange that he speaks abut Jessica by saying “we” as if he is really a part of her. She is a grown woman and capable of making her own decisions. Ok, well maybe not. However, it is really lame to be having her daddy speak for her and hold her hand through everything she does.
