Oliver Stone Comes Under Fire
Oliver Stone tends to be one of those people that you either love or hate or are completely indifferent to. He’s known for making many successful films about the lives of public figures like Jim Morrison and Richard Nixon. Some of his movies have been hailed as cinematic success while others are considered flops at best. His latest project will be about the life of Iran president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. This has a lot of criticism flying his way. The President’s Media advisor even commented to the public that Stone is considered by the government to be part of the “great Satan”. According to the Bush administration anyone who is not for it is against it. Well I believe that makes a great many of us against it, but that hardly qualifies Bush to be handing out labels like “great Satan”. For someone who claims religious beliefs he is clearly hypocritical to them. Oliver Stone making a movie shouldn’t be that much of a problem to somebody who clearly can’t clean up his own messes.
