Lindsay Lohan was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence early Saturday morning after her Mercedes convertible struck a curb on Sunset Boulevard in Los Angeles. Police reported that they also found a substance they believe to be cocaine at the scene. Lohan, 20, and two other unidentified people were in the actresses’ 2005 Mercedes SL-65 when it crashed at around 5:30 a.m. on Saturday. It appeared she had been speeding and when police responded to a 911 call about the accident
Prosecutors have decided not to file charges against veteran actor Ryan O’Neal following a row with his son and allegations of assault on 3 February. The Love Story star, 66, was arrested on suspicion of assaulting Griffin O’Neal, 42, with a deadly weapon and negligent discharge of a firearm. They blamed each other for starting the brawl which left the son’s pregnant girlfriend, Joanna Berry, injured.
Now how low have people have fallen that there is a use of gun in a brawl amongst father and son. Luckily there was insufficient evidence to prove the case beyond a reasonable doubt, or else we could easily have had another celebrity who would be facing a jail sentence. O’Neal, who found fame in 1960s US soap Peyton Place, said he fired a warning shot into the air when his son attacked him with a poker. Hopefully the two will now call peace to the incident and more over not repeat the incident ever again. One should also sympathies with the pregnant lady that she was caught in the fight for no mistake of hers’. Ms Berry needed eight stitches over her eye and suffered a broken sinus amongst other injuries, none of which were gun-related.
For the people working on Katie Holmes’s new movie, Mad Money, in Shreveport, La., TGIF means “Treats and Goodies, its Friday.” The actress has been treating her fellow cast and crew to a tasty surprise every week. This Friday’s special? Snow cones in “every flavor you could think of,” an insider tells PEOPLE. “We’re always wondering all week, ‘What’s Katie going to do this Friday?” the source says. “The snow cones were great because it’s in the high 80s. They melt fast, but it’s great.” A snow cone truck pulled up to the set around 3 p.m. Friday, and as word spread among the cast and crew, a line quickly formed to share in the shaved ice and flavored syrup treats that are so popular in the South. Since shooting began on Mad Money, a comedy also staring Diane Keaton, Queen Latifah and Ted Danson, Holmes has treated the entire cast and crew – about 200 to 300 people – to a surprise. “The first Friday was smoothies,” the insider says. “Then we had the ice cream, pizza, cupcakes, Coke floats and now snow cones.” Hubby Tom Cruise and daughter Suri are frequent visitors to the set. Suri was there on Friday without Cruise. “She was walking down the hall today – someone waved and said ‘hi,’ and she just giggled,” says the source. “She’s a happy baby.”
After a long and successful career Paul Neman (now 82 years old) told “Good Morning America” that he has to give up acting. His exact words were:
““I’m not able to work anymore as an actor at the level I would want to. You start to lose your memory, your confidence, your invention. So that’s pretty much a closed book for me. I’ve been doing it for 50 years. That’s enough.”

She will do her first major acting role without her sister in cable series “Weeds”. She will star near Mary-Louise Parker, who is Nancy Botwin in the movie, a lead role. Mary-Kate will be pictured in at least 10 episodes and her role is Tara, a Christian teenager that lives in Majestic, a religious community. She will be the love interest of Botwin’s son (Hunter Prrish). The Olsen twin declared:
“I’m thrilled to be a part of the show. It’s really an honor to be a part of such a talented group of actors and writers.”

“Weeds isn’t your eight o’clock family fare. It’s an adult show with adult subject matter, and we’re confident Mary-Kate is right for the role. She came in and read with Hunter and was absolutely charming and real and seemed like a great fit. Audiences have seen only one side of Mary-Kate, but here we’ll see her in a whole new light.”

It is needless to say that this headline made her mad. I think anyone would get upset if such an article would be about him/her. Keira’s lawyer, Simon Smith stated that:
“The article could be interpreted to have asserted that the claimant bore personal responsibility for causing the tragic death of Sophie Mazurek, a 19-year-old, who battled with anorexia.”
This is a little bit taking it too far but what is important is that she won and although $6,000 is not really much for her, such articles should not be published, not with that headline anyway.
In a rare showing of emotion, the world (or at least those that watched the Today Show) saw an emotional Angelina as she shed tears due to Ann Curry’s line of questioning. When asked about the loss of her beloved mother early this year, the normally cool, calm and collected Jolie began to cry. She spoke of wanting to be a good mom to her kids just like her mom was to her.

Leonardo will showing his latest documentary “The 11th Hour” at the Cannes Film Festival. The documentary involves the effects of human activities to the change in climate and how to fix the damage brought by such activities. He co-wrote the “The 11th Hour”. Aside from co-writing the movie he also narrates in the movie. Leonardo is really making a great significance to the importance of taking care our very own planet. Climate change is indeed a great not only to our planet Earth but also to us humans. We should take of our planet.
007 star Daniel Craig has signed up to play a washed-up British Hollywood actor.
Craig, who won rave reviews for his turn as Bond in Casino Royale, has been cast in Flashbacks of a Fool. The movie, announced at the Cannes Film Festival, also features British stars Helen McCrory, Olivia Williams and Emilia Fox. Craig, 39, who is more in demand in Hollywood, then ever before, plays a star in his 40s whose allure is starting to fade. When the producers of the spy movie James Bond reveled Craig as the next ‘Bond’ to the world, there was a lot of criticism of him being too old looking to make a nice looking ‘bond’ hero. Well he went on to prove that he could play the character very well and the movie Casino Royale was a box office success. Personally I think he looks quite old and not as dashing and charismatic as the previous actor Brosnan. Daniel is headed for more success in Hollywood and that argues well for his carrier. Filming begins on the movie, directed by Baillie Walsh, later this month in South Africa and London.
Over 20,000 of Michael Jackson’s belongings will be auctioned off at the end of the month. Some of which are bizarre sex toys and paintings of nude young boys. The auctioneer purchased the belongings from one of Jacko’s former business partners. He was planning on not selling the weird stuff by a temporary restraining order from Jacko’s camp to stop the auction provoked him to do so.
With whatever’s left of Jacko’s dignity, he had the order lifted but settled with getting first dibs on 20 items. Obviously, he’d be going for the weird stuff. If not, dude… get your priorities straight! But then again, nothing should surprise us anymore when it comes to the guy. Heck, I’m anxiously waiting for the moment that his nose flies off.
Is there any body that can match the acting skills and the repertoire of Mr. Will Smith? He says, “We always talk about doing a JJFP (Jazzy Jeff and Fresh Prince) record and a huge tour, we just have to clear the time to do it. Right now, the plan is we are supposed to go out on tour together at the end of this year.” The way he dances in his videos it is quite apparent that the actor has great dancing skills.
Anne Heche’s estranged husband Coley Laffoon has filed new divorce and custody papers. In them, Laffoon asks for joint custody, child support, spousal support and other financial support for expenses. He even went to ask for psychiatric evaluation for both parties in order to be able to raise their 5 year old son better.
Really now? He’s been a stay-at-home dad ever since the kid was born. She’s claimed she was abducted by aliens, left rich and famous Ellen DeGeneres to marry him and then left him for her co-star in her TV show. He at least still has a chance to pass that test. Her? Fat chance!

It seems that this fancy girl will be spending some quality time in jail. The 26-year old will serve for a minimum of 23 days in jail according to L.A. Sheriff’s Department. Not bad for quite a naughty girl. The sentence is for Paris’ violation for driving on a suspended license. I bet 23 days is not long enough to tame this lady. For you guys out there, if you plan on having some night out please don’t forget to bring your drivers license. And, make sure its good to avoid ending up like Paris. Your pretty lucky if you end up in the same cell together with Paris.
Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher’s marriage is allegedly under pressure because of their failure to have a baby.
The 44-year-old actress already has three daughters with ex-husband Bruce Willis, but she and 29-year-old Ashton are keen to have a child of their own.
A source told America’s Star magazine: “Demi seems very controlling. She likes to tell Ashton what to do, stand here, meet this person, do that. She wears the pants in that relationship. Ashton desperately wants a baby but is having to cope with the possibility that Demi may never bear his child.”
Demi has been making a number of sacrifices and lifestyle changes to enhance her chances of conceiving - and is reportedly expecting Ashton to do the same.
The couple attended a party at a producer friend’s Bel Air home in March and Demi was said to be furious when her younger spouse drank alcohol.
A witness said: “Ashton accepted a glass of champagne, after Demi refused the offer. She shot Ashton a look that said ‘I’m not drinking, so you shouldn’t either.’ Ashton gave her a defiant look that appeared to say he didn’t care, and he took a sip. She doesn’t want him to do anything unhealthy because of their difficulty in trying to have a baby together. The bottom line is Demi and Ashton love each other. But it’s tough going right now!”
On her official website, Britney has posted a letter to the fans that says their prayers have helped her a lot during “this” trying time and that we are all lights of the world that must continue to inspire others. And here’s my problem with that…
First off, what trying time is she referring to? Is it about the divorce, her bald head or rehab? Second, after everything that she’s done, even in just the past few months, does she really still believe that she can inspire people? And what’s with her mini concerts? She’s lip synching people! Does anyone really think that she’d be able to make a successful come back? I don’t.
I predict a mind-numbing flop. Unless you’re one of those hardcore fans that faint at having their “idol” just look in their general direction. To each their own I guess.
